It's an old Anthrax song called "Starting Up a Posse", not my own writing. The kind of thing that in college seemed profound after a lot of drinking or a bad head injury. I think on the original CD it came complete with a note about how if you actually hear this on a radio station then there's real freedom in America. Ha ha, nice try, Anthrax.

Anyway, it just popped into my mind as something with a lot of bad language that I could use as a test. Actually, the lyrics up there messed up the best part of the song: It's not "motherfucker, motherfucker", it's "motherfucker, motherfuck", sung jauntily in the background during that whole verse. Much funnier than the rest of the song because rather than being in-your-face it was just sung as if it were "doo dah, doo dah" type background singing.

That also explains why weird things get blocked. It's probably stuff that spammers used in their typical jumbled-up subjects to try to avoid simple keyword filters.

Only a small minority (10% of less) had any sort of spam problem, so the rest of us lost half our real mail for no good reason.
