Let's Get the Kids!

Animal rights terrorists start targeting children.

Such progress!

A couple of days stretching on the rack would disabuse this ALF crew of the notion that attacking nurseries is somehow a profitable approach to attaining their goals.

Its my considered opinion that "the clarity of pain" can "refocus the energies" of such deluded individuals much more effectively than the lesser, (and obviously ineffective) correctional methods that have taken hold of late.

Of course they could just be taken out and shot, but there is no public sport in that at all. In these days of "Reality TV" there is clearly a big demand for something like "Reality punishment TV". It could be bigger than Oprah.

Total scum! Maybe an hour or 2 with Ms England hand the NG friends would make them reconsider.

Well, at least this is one activist group that makes the plea "Won't somebody =please= think of the children?!"

I suppose threatening the children was only the next step, when the little boogers wouldn't tow the line.

Sick Bastards.

Posted by: WunderKraut on September 30, 2005 07:12 AM

They only planted a few incindiary devices. Oh, its only a little conspiracy, then? Well, that's just fine.

Posted by: Mikey on September 30, 2005 07:46 AM

They've been at it for a while.

I particularly like handing out "Your Mommy Kills Animals" to children going to see a performance of the Nutcracker.

*ssholes.

I'm certain that the furry f'er ALF on TV actually enjoys eating cats with some fava beans and a nice chianti. Suhsuhsuhsuhsuhsuh!

Nice choice for an acronym there nimrods!!

Did anyone notice the headline of the article? "Animal activists". Harry's title was a bit more appropriate.

Irony, thy name is "Irony."

from the Evil Company that Makes Drugs Website -

Their shit keeps animals healthy, too.
The Veterinary Industry

The aim of the industry is to produce products for both companion and livestock animals that will contribute to their health and wellbeing. Huntingdon Life Sciences provides a comprehensive service to support the industry in meeting regulatory requirements in the fields of efficacy, target animal and human safety, and product quality.

Livestock animals

Only healthy animals produce safe and wholesome food. Animal health products contribute to economic and environmentally-friendly livestock farming. In a situation without veterinary medicines, animals would suffer and that would clearly be unacceptable.

Moreover, to obtain the same food production level as today without veterinary medicines, experts say it would require an increase by 25% of the poultry population and an increase by 89% of the cattle population. The direct impact on the production systems and the environment would be deleterious.

Companion animals

Veterinary medicines and vaccines help to keep them healthy and permit the human / animal interaction that benefits human physical, emotional and psychological well-being.

I think ALF might be confused over the big words -Note to ALF: 'deleterious' means 'bad'

I think, however, an appropriate response for HLS would be to open up an in-house daycare facility on their premises. They might charge the same rates as the other providers in the area. But having the kids on-site would give them more in the way of security than their being next door or just down the street.

They're missing a great opportunity to make use of the natural meanness of children here. If I were in charge, I'd be organizing barbecues on the nursery grounds (with fans set up to fan the succulent aroma of roasting hot dogs and hamburgers at the ALFtards), and handing out gobbets of raw meat to the tots -- "Come on, kids, throw!" This would teach many valuable lessons to children, such as how to make lemonade out of life's lemons, and that it's good to harass stupid animal activists.

These people are no different than the Islamic terrorists who attacked us on 9-11. They should be identified and exterminated.

Posted by: The Warden on September 30, 2005 10:22 AM

Wretched bunch of dirt bags they should be thrown to the lions they should be marooned in the alaskan wilderness where that animals are not cute cuddly stuffed toy animals let them see what real animals do when a PETA or AFL freal is amonst them

Posted by: spurwing plover on September 30, 2005 10:40 AM

I'm surprised the locals put up with this. It's not some far flung group on the other side of the world, they're nearby.
Presumably these ALF folks name's can be found out, and they have homes, and petrol is widely available.
I'm just sayin' is all.

If the cops can't catch a large, organized group that frequently announces their escapades, what chance do they have to catch a few fed-up local businessowners?

Posted by: Tom on September 30, 2005 11:18 AM

The difference is that the ALF crew are "activists". The fed up parents tired of having their kids terrorized would be "vigilantes".

"activists" aren't a blight on civil society, "vigilantes" are - the cops would land on them like a ton of bricks.

At least that's how the media would be pitching it...

Posted by: Purple Avenger on September 30, 2005 12:24 PM

"The ALF did not return calls last night."

Hiding in plain sight.

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.

Oof. Reviewers do not like Scary Movie 6. The criticism I keep hearing is that the movie mistakes a reference for an actual joke. The movie (they say) keeps Key Jangling a reference to another movie (or some other pop culture ephemera) and you expect there to be a joke but nope, the Key Jangle was the joke. Other reviewers say that the promise that "no lines will be uncrossed" is a fake-out, and that the movie is bland and inoffensively corporate.
