I remember the liberals throwing an absolute fit - justifiably - after Pat Robertson, shortly after the planes hit on 9/11, claimed that the terrorist attacks came about because God had withdrawn his protections from the United States for its tolerance of abortion-on-demand, gay marriage and general immorality and licentiousness.
