Greg Gutfeld Slams Fellow HuffPo Cindyghouls

On Friday, every story on the front page was about "Mother" Cindy Sheehan, Patron Saint of Easily-Exploitable Video-Friendly Griefpimping.

Greg Gutfeld isn't having any of it. He farts in the HuffPo iving room and doesn't even have the common decency to blame the dog.

Nice Jaws riffing, too.

Thanks to the Blogometer.

I love this guy. Well, second to you, ace. Be sure to check his double secret hidden blog or whatever he calls it.

ps: who is this scott guy he always refers to?

Posted by: on August 15, 2005 02:17 PM

August, I think Scott is Greg's lover/boyfriend/SO.

Posted by: meep on August 15, 2005 02:41 PM

Speaking of which, whatever happened to July? He was my favorite commenter.

Posted by: meep on August 15, 2005 02:41 PM

OMG! Are you suggesting there is another gay conservative??? Who works for a nudey mag, or how ever one would catagorize Maxim???

Posted by: on August 15, 2005 02:53 PM

Son. Of. A. Bitch.

Here I am, one of the biggest fans of Jaws ever, can quote the movie at heart, and just saw it again on the big screen two weeks ago (still great), and all I can think of now is. . . how the f-word did I *NOT* come up with this analogy first?

Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Eff you, Gutfeld. Eff you.

Cheers,
Dave at Garfield Ridge

I love the stream of comments that have been added since I first read it' even the commenters at HuffPo constantly quiver with outrage. This might be my favorite:

I am glad you are here and I want the whole world
to see you and hear your ass hole bloggings
you need the exposure and people will say "what a jerk!,I never ever want to be like that guy"

Dibs on "Ass Hole Bloggings" for a site name.

Here's his 'roommate's" blog. He's a bit of a hoot, too:

My favorite is this quote:

THE CHIEF BRODY SLAP (CBS) is a chief staple in an any liberal diet: a fiery mix of outrage, self-rightious indignation and condemnation delivered from a moral highground so lofty it gives you a nosebleed. The Brody Slap is predicated on the idea that you don't need a solution, only blame. Who needs a real alternative when you're already outraged? It's easy!

The really hilarious thing is that the commenters are going to great lengths to prove this theory correct. Righteous Outrage(tm) and Fiery Indignation(tm) both make an appearance!

I like this quip from his double secret hidden blog:

favorite sounds: 1.heaving utility belts jostling as police officers run thru backyards in any episode of Cops. i can listen to that for hours, and i don't why.

I can listen to that for hours, too.

Posted by: on August 15, 2005 03:47 PM

Ace, you should stop linking to Gutfeld's stuff...he's trying to steal your position as the funniest conservative guy on the blogosphere, or FCGOTB for short.

Posted by: madne0 on August 15, 2005 04:12 PM

Wow, I thought we were geeks and nerds over here - but it's only a matter of time before the lib commenters break out the Venn diagrams over at HuffPo to explain in scientific terms exactly how Gutfeld's analogy is flawed.

God, they're funny, and they don't even know it.

"Wow, I thought we were geeks and nerds over here - but it's only a matter of time before the lib commenters break out the Venn diagrams over at HuffPo to explain in scientific terms exactly how Gutfeld's analogy is flawed."

That's some hilarious stuff over there. I don't think that they realize that analogies can be effective without two situations being EXACTLY THE SAME.

Thanks to Gutfeld I've actually commented on the HuffPo blog. I feel so dirty.

But he was totally wrong with his analogy, because everyone knows there are no sharks in Iraq. Stupid wingers.

Posted by: Sortelli on August 16, 2005 12:12 AM

And if there were sharks in Iraq, they wouldn't even want democracy and it's not our business to meddle with them.

Any questions?

Yeah. What were the answers?

Posted by: on August 16, 2005 01:05 AM

Iraqis who voted: 8 million

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
