I think the National Enquirer is more reputable than the French media.Once again, our perfidious friends the Frogs make even the NY Times look professional. Can anyone here, or at Agence France Presse, explain to me the association between this picture and the sidebar text??? posted by Tanker at 11:55 AM
CommentsLooks like Spring Break pictures to me. Posted by: WunderKraut on August 15, 2005 12:01 PM
Didn't you read Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's list of demands and grievances? ... whereas the infidel invaders have polluted our holy land with the derivative and banal musical stylings of Jessica Simpson ... and don't even get me started with that Clay Aiken ... may the jackals feed well upon his bones!! Posted by: Phinn on August 15, 2005 12:06 PM
Oh, I dunno, I kind of like the implication: America is so all-powerful, its bikini-clad infidel women can kick al Qaeda's asses by proxy, while lounging poolside listening to music that definitely is haram. Posted by: Rocketeer on August 15, 2005 12:06 PM
Maybe she's the one that put down al-Zarqawi's top aide. We know even our women our tougher than the terrorists. Our female soldiers don't need to go up against innocents like they choose to do Posted by: Silk on August 15, 2005 12:09 PM
Well, the caption suggests the woman is a soldier, and a pretty nice looking one at that. I LOVE the women in uniform - and out! :-) Posted by: Mark on August 15, 2005 12:21 PM
Obviously the dead terrorist was mezmerized by her infidel loins, rendering him easy prey. Posted by: Confederate Yankee on August 15, 2005 12:24 PM
I'll go along with a couple of other posters and say that once you've deconstructed the subtext of the picture and the associated story, the implication is that American troops find putting down Islamofascist terrorist shitheads to be pretty much a day at the beach. Posted by: utron on August 15, 2005 12:30 PM
Okay, I get it. I post substantive stuff about the Iraqi constitution, Tanker posts a chick in a bikini, and you retards all run to comment on his post. Okay. Okay. I get it. Posted by: ace on August 15, 2005 12:33 PM
The Army should use that for a recruiting poster. Posted by: Gromulin on August 15, 2005 12:42 PM
Hummina, hummina. The United States Army. . . It's Fannn-tastic! Cheers, Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on August 15, 2005 12:44 PM
This is outrageous! Only one picture? Didn't that stupid Frog photog get some of her standing up and looking at the camera? Posted by: jmchez on August 15, 2005 12:51 PM
While her loins are of major concern, notice that her head is not covered, allowing her to mesmerise jihadis with her evil feminine hair rays. Posted by: Sean M. on August 15, 2005 01:10 PM
I didn't know GI's were issued mountain bikes and that because of the rash of thievery at the camp it was necessary to chain lock them up. Posted by: Dman on August 15, 2005 01:22 PM
Yes, because nothing screams "You're gonna get an asskicking" like a bikini-clad female with a an M16 and a bandolier around her full, tanned breasts. Posted by: CraigC on August 15, 2005 01:41 PM
Yes, because nothing screams "You're gonna get an asskicking" like a bikini-clad female with a an M16 and a bandolier around her full, tanned breasts. Dammit, CraigC, now I have to change my underwear. Posted by: Pompous on August 15, 2005 01:50 PM
If that is a quagmire, the world needs more quagmires! Sort of undermines the 'bodycount" storyline in the MLM. Posted by: Danimal on August 15, 2005 07:40 PM
It's funny, you can see her M16 behind her leaning against the fence. She's cute, though. Take THAT, Jihad-Jim! Posted by: Greatmoose on August 16, 2005 10:19 AM

Tomorrow is March 25th, "Tolkien Reading Day," because March 25th is the day when the Ring is destroyed in the book. I think I'm going to start the Hobbit tomorrow and read all four books this time.
The only bad part of the trilogy are the Frodo/Sam chapters in The Two Towers. They're repetitive, slow, and mostly about the weather and terrain. But most everything else is good. Weirdly, the Frodo-Sam chapters in Return of the King are exciting and action-packed and among the best in the trilogy. (Though the chapters with everyone else in Return of the King get pretty slow again. Mostly people talking about marching towards war, and then marching towards war.)

US decimation of Iran's ICBM forces is due to Space Force's instant detection of launches -- and the launchers' hiding places -- and rapid counter-attack via missiles
AI is doing a lot of the work in analyzing images to find the exact hiding place of the launchers. Counter-strikes are now coming in four hours after a launch, whereas previously it might have taken days for humans to go over the imagery and data.

Update: Reports say The Warthog has been deployed against men
Thanks to fd. Yeah, thanks a bunch, Chief.
Reports: The A-10 Thunderbolt, better known as The Warthog, has been unleashed on Iran
It's a heavily armored (the pilot sits in a titanim bathtub) slow-and-low loitering plane with a massive minigun firing depleted uranium rounds. The capability it brings is the ability to just fly big circles over the country waiting for a target to present itself. This is a weapons platform for eliminating vehicles and personnel. Its first task might be strafing the seas, clearing out any remaining attack boats and minelayers.
Update: My ballpark estimate for a reasonable cost for a wildlife overpass (suitably padded to sate the thirst of Democrat grifters) was $15 million. Turns out, that was a good estimate. That's how much it cost Denver to build one.
Some people liked Candace Owens because she was a black woman who told hard truths about BLM and black criminality. But this was always a grift. She started out as a race hustler for a grift, then hustled race the other way to grift conservatives, and now she's back to being a race-hustler for the left again. Specifically, she is now claiming that people pointing out that she is legitimately low-IQ and can't pronounce half the words her AI-generated teleprompter script points out to her is racist and just Ben Shapiro's way of saying the n-word without quite saying it. You see, you can only say that black people are smart, and if you see a dumb one that doesn't know how to pronounce simple words while she poses as an investigatory journalist, you have to pretend she's actually smart or you're a racist. Weird, that doesn't sound very conservative, let alone "#Based," to me. To prove how much she hates racism, she then says that Ben Shapiro's Jew ancestors were masters of the slave trade.
