If Bush Deliberately Allowed 9-11, Did Blair Allow 7-7?

Just curious.

After all, he's not politcally popular. Maybe, like Chimphitler McHalliburton, he decided he'd goose his popularity ratings by allowing a terrorist attack on the homeland.

Because, you know, there's no way you could reap similar political benefits by foiling an attempted mass-slaughter.

A foiled attempt? I question the timing.

Is there an (R) after his name?

Sadly, I think it's probably true that foiling an attack would not be as politically beneficial. People don't take foiled attacks anywhere near as seriously as attacks that succeed -- if the government was able to stop the attack, it must not have been a real threat.

But... successful terrorist attacks are ALSO not "real threats," Michael Moore and the BBC inform me.

I like to think the public at large has more sense than to believe that even if it does come from a source as immense, er, I mean eminent, as Michael Moore.

A foiled 9/11 could have been enormously better for Bush politically than the real 9/11.

For one thing, everyone thought that the body count was on the order of 10,000-50,000 (at least) until the missing people were tallied and added up to 3,000. If the attack had not succeeded, Bush could have claimed, in all honesty, that the foiled attack would have likely (based on the capacity of the towers and the assumption that the evacuation would have gone as badly as the first WTC evacuation did) claimed the total death toll of the entire Vietnam War in a single morning. That would have gotten people's attention for sure.

(Now if it could have been foiled by passengers or crew with guns somehow, or even passengers in all the planes fighting back with whatever came to hand after figuring out that the only reason a hijacker could possibly want to be at the controls himself is to do something that the pilot won't do even at gunpoint, which can only mean crashing the plane, we'd be in a completely different world right now...)

Question for any left wing nutjob reading this.

You guys say that being in Iraq is distracting us from the real WoT and bin Laden specifically... sort of implying that there are no terrorists to be found there.

You then go on to say that the recent bombings in London are a direct result of being in Iraq and that we should pull out all forces immediately so as to avoid any further "insurgent" "retaliations".

My question is this....

If Iraq has very little (if anything) to do with the War on Terror, then why would terrorists feel the need to get back at us for being there....?

ANOTHER LEFT WING ASSASSIN ATTEMPTS TO KILL TRUMP
If I understand this, the left-wing Democrat assassin attempted to get into the White House Correspondents Association dinner, and was stopped at the magnetometers, which detected his gun. I guess he pulled out the gun and was shot by Secret Service agents.
Erika Kirk was present.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

@KFILE 21m

Politico is reporting that multiple people have abruptly resigned from Eric Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign: "Members of senior leadership have departed the campaign, including Courtni Pugh, a strategic adviser who served as Swalwell's top liaison to organized labor groups."

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.
That hissing sound you hear is the air going out of the Swalwell campaign. UPDATE: No it wasn't, it was just Swalwell one-cheek-sneaking out a fart on camera

Classic Rock Mystery Click
This is super-obscure and I only barely remember it. Given that, I'll give you the hint that it's by the Red Rocker.

Oh, but then, you never were afraid

Oh, but it's alright with me now

Now twenty people will tell me it's not obscure, it was huge in their hometown and played at their prom. That's how it usually goes. When I linked Donnie Iris's "Love is Like a Rock," everyone said they knew that one and that his other song (which I didn't know at all) Ah Leah! was huge in their area.
