In Case You Missed It: They're Stealing 9-11Great piece I never quite got around to linking: The World Trade Center Memorial Cultural Complex will be an imposing edifice wedged in the place where the Twin Towers once stood. It will serve as the primary "gateway" to the underground area where the names of the lost are chiseled into concrete. The organizers of its principal tenant, the International Freedom Center (IFC), have stated that they intend to take us on "a journey through the history of freedom"--but do not be fooled into thinking that their idea of freedom is the same as that of those Marines. To the IFC's organizers, it is not only history's triumphs that illuminate, but also its failures. The public will have come to see 9/11 but will be given a high-tech, multimedia tutorial about man's inhumanity to man, from Native American genocide to the lynchings and cross-burnings of the Jim Crow South, from the Third Reich's Final Solution to the Soviet gulags and beyond. This is a history all should know and learn, but dispensing it over the ashes of Ground Zero is like creating a Museum of Tolerance over the sunken graves of the USS Arizona. And you must read the bios of the other people involved in the IFC. Eric Foner and George Soros are on the list. They. Never. Stop. You'd think that being able to push their views on the public through the airwaves and on campuses would be enough. Nope. They also seek to appropriate from Americans a monument to the dead. You won't even be able to make the trek to Ground Zero without having to endure the same "Guantanamo-obsessed" (in Ms. Burlingame's phrase) ideology you get from the NYT and CBSNews every f'n' day.

CommentsIncluded on the list of others involved in the IFC is the head of the ACLU, Tony Romero. This should be enough to know that the IFC has no interest in making this a memorial, but a showcase of anti-Americanism. Posted by: Steve on June 27, 2005 01:18 PM
As I understand it, the premier exhibit will be called, "America: We Deserved It". Posted by: James on June 27, 2005 01:38 PM
They. Never. Stop. You'd think that being able to push their views on the public through the airwaves and on campuses would be enough. Nope! They won't stop until we stop them. And the only way to stop them is through an effective boycott of the goods and services that support them. THE RIGHT MUST BOYCOTT!!! Posted by: on June 27, 2005 02:16 PM
The real problem is the lefties of the fifth estate are doing everything they can to help keep this bullshit under then radar. You can bet that if the majority of us in the red flyover states knew about this crap, it would be tar and pitchforks. But as long as this is kept off the pages of the newspapers, and the local TV stations, they may just get away with this hijacking. Posted by: Len - KC on June 27, 2005 02:31 PM
THE RIGHT MUST BOYCOTT!!! Boycott what? The memorial? I don't plan to make the trip up north to see that -- in fact, I don't plan on going to NYC anytime soon, if I want to see a polluted, crowded city I don't have to travel that far (no offense, Ace and Karol, I just don't like big cities) -- and even if I did, I highly doubt The Right's boycott of New York would have much of an effect. I know that 9-11 was an attack on us all, but what exactly are the people of New York City doing about this? I think it's appropriate to say that native New Yorkers were more affected by this attack because it happened in their city, just as the OKC bombing had a deeper effect on Okies. I'm sure there are thousands of NYCers who knew someone murdered on that day, and I would think that, since the memorial is being built in their back yard, they would have more say and more sway...and their input would likely have much more of an impact than whether or not someone like ME, for example, boycotts the memorial from 1500 miles away. BUT, we're talking New York City, the city vying for the title of Liberal Capitol of the United States against Los Angeles. I wonder if the majority would even object to this take on US history. However, I don't recall anyone even suggesting Tim McVeigh's political POVs be given consideration when the OKC memorial was built. Was the difference in the attackers, the location, the funding, or all of the above? Later, Posted by: bbeck on June 27, 2005 02:44 PM

Curtis, unless something has changed in recent years, online petitions aren't often taken seriously because there's no way to confirm their authenticity. Later, Posted by: bbeck on June 27, 2005 02:51 PM

ANOTHER LEFT WING ASSASSIN ATTEMPTS TO KILL TRUMP
If I understand this, the left-wing Democrat assassin attempted to get into the White House Correspondents Association dinner, and was stopped at the magnetometers, which detected his gun. I guess he pulled out the gun and was shot by Secret Service agents. Erika Kirk was present.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this. He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again. You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.
People say that the bearded man in the video of Fartwell molesting a hooker looks like Democrat Arizona Senator Rueben Gallego, said to be Swalwell's "best friend" and known to take vacations with him.
