Conyers isn't the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, so for the sake of confusion, it's understandable that he wouldn't be.

When someone has actual evidence that journalists are targeted, get back to us. Your links mean nothing, the first just parrots claims by Serbs that NATO deliberately targeted a radio station. The second talks about the tank that fired on the Baghdad hotel in '03. Neither provides evidence of a deliberate act. If journalists choose to enter a war zone, they have to understand that they may be caught in the crossfire. While I have sympathy for them, they are adults who made the choice to go into a dangerous area. Of course, you probably won't listen to any of this. if you really believe the Washington Post is "right-wing" then you are beyond reach. I suspect Pravda circa 1980 would have been a little too right leaning for your tastes.
