Hoist the Black Flag, 4PM Eastern

You can hear the show at Rightalk.com, by looking for the "Now Playing-- Channel One" button at four.

And you can call in. You morons seemed to have forgotten how to dial a phone last week. The call-in number is:

CALL IN NUMBER- 1-866-884-TALK (8255)

Maybe the problem was that "TALK" at the end of the number, and you couldn't figure out how to dial letters. Well, see, above each number is a group of letters, and...

I don't feel like explaining it out. Use "context clues" to guide you.

Anyhoo.

We'll be speaking with former Senatorial Candidate (and former Chairman of the Kansas Fed Reserve Bank, and former visionary CEO, etc.) and author of They Think You're Stupid: Why Democrats Lost Your Vote and What Republicans Must Do to Keep It, Herman Cain.

Who Karol says is just an amazingly inspirational speaker and quite an advocate of capitalism.

And then we'll be speaking with Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs fame.

Who everyone knows, of course.

Glad you gave it another plug, ace. For obvious reasons, I forgot today is Tuesday.

And please don't spend all your time with Charles Johnson rehashing Rathergate or going into an extensive bio. As you pointed out, everyone knows/knows about him and it's a waste of precious time. I know you worry about not being able to fill the time. But, really ace, once your mouth gets going, it's *not* a problem.

Just my opinion. Feel free to ignore it. Good luck and I will be listening.

Crazy, I'm setting aside time to listen to this, because I can't concentrate on audio when doing something else.

Craxy I tell you.

I finally clicked the link and saw Mr. Cain's photo. I know who he is . . . Michael Medved interviewed him last week and has previously mentioned his name on his show. CAIN IS GREAT! !

The NYT has no concept of "operational security."

The article in question angers me beyond belief. Had I done this while still on active duty... I'd be still be making little rocks out of big rocks at Levenworth.

Posted by: Kadnine on May 31, 2005 04:10 PM

I was unaware Mr. Cain had a radio show.

I'll have to google it.

Posted by: Kadnine on May 31, 2005 04:16 PM

I'm headed to out to pick up the wife from work.

I just might swing by and pick up Herman Cain's new book.

Good show, guys. Keep it up.

Posted by: Kadnine on May 31, 2005 04:25 PM

Mr Cain was a great guest, though the double wow by you and Karol was a little queer at the end.

Posted by: blancobrawler on May 31, 2005 04:40 PM

Wow is good. I want to be wowed. I'm so sick of being jaded.

Posted by: on May 31, 2005 04:42 PM

Very proffesional so far. 10 minutes left!

Posted by: Greg on May 31, 2005 04:50 PM

Another good show. I am looking forward to your single-guest format though so you two have some more time to comment and maybe take some more calls.

Posted by: BrewFan on May 31, 2005 05:01 PM

You need a longer format. The show was great and ended too quickly. Good job guys!

Posted by: on May 31, 2005 05:02 PM

Geez, the one caller you had was almost incoherent. Damn, I need to drink less before I call in.

Posted by: JFH on May 31, 2005 05:03 PM

Well Charles Johnson's voice wasn't what I expected it to be. Good show all around though. Maybe next show you can give away a t-shirt or something to increase call in participation. Also if you are gonna have two interviews everytime, the show should be longer to allow for more discussion and comedy in between.

Posted by: blancobrawler on May 31, 2005 05:04 PM

Cool stuff, Ace.

Posted by: Pixy Misa on May 31, 2005 07:07 PM

Cain certainly acquitted himself well - man how I wish he'd beaten that limp noodle Isakson in the GA Republican primary. I have a feeling he'd be giving out sound bites left and right up on the Hill right now.

He'll be back, hopefully. Shame there aren't really any more big Democrats to knock off in Georgia. Maybe he can move to McKinney's district?

(Oh, and you know what? Godfather's Pizza actually ain't half bad for a chain pizza joint.)

The chick needs to shut off her mike when she's not talking. She tends to breathe, giggle, and annoyingly snort into the microphone while others are trying to talk.

The talk between you and Charles was otherwise pretty decent.

Posted by: SWLiP on May 31, 2005 11:01 PM

She tends to breathe -- That was ace.

giggle -- That was the guest.

and annoyingly snort -- That was you.

Posted by: on June 1, 2005 12:09 AM

I have to disagree with SWLiP on both the tone and content of his(?) post. Karol's breathing and giggles are fetching and her questions are good. There does still seem to be some timing/spacing issues between Ace and Karol; at one point Ace completely runs Karol over as she is starting to ask a question.

I have to admit though that between Karol's giggles and the smoking hot babe in the ThoseShirts.com add I had a hard time concentrating on what was going on. The babe has me considering making that picture my desktop's wallpaper. Man the conservative shirt companies know some hot looking women.

Posted by: vonKreedon on June 1, 2005 01:08 AM

Sorry, I was just trying to suggest a way to make the broadcast a little more professional-sounding. I didn't mean to pick on Karol.

Posted by: SWLiP on June 1, 2005 11:07 AM

No hard feelings, SWLiP, I don't mind criticism. And I definitely don't mind compliments, so thanks everyone.

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
