I'm waiting for the upcoming group blog by the people cast off of TV reality shows. I'm sure their views on the looming threat of North Korean nuclear weapons will be equal to anything Warren Beaty might come up with.

If Dr. Phil can write best-selling books, I have a feeling that Gwynneth Paltrow can master, sort of, the rather breezy and easy writing style of blogging.

I disagree. The Gwynneths of the world depend on an enormous cadre of unseen handlers whose job it is to keep the illusion from being dispelled by an accidental blurting of rabid anti-semitism, anti-Americanism, or ordinary stupidity. I expect this is a full-time job. To expect these people to reveal their thoughts to the public every day is asking for trouble. So, they will have to turn to ghost-writers, and then you instantly lose the unvarshished "freshness" we've come to know and love here at AOS HQ.

As for this Arianna person (who?), I suppose she's used to talking in public, so I guess she can keep from forever altering the image that the public already has of her. Then again, if you put a gun to my head, I couldn't tell you what the hell she ever talks about. It's like listening to a bird going "EEEE EEEE EEE!" all the time.

They were a lot less "fucks" in the David Mamet post than I'd anticipated. I was hoping for something genuinely Mametian in the Glengarry Glen Ross vein, like:
"PUT THAT KEYBOARD DOWN. Comments are for closers."

No offense, because everyone SHOULD have you on their blogrolls, but YOU KNOW her having you on that blogroll is a shameless ploy to draw in readers from "our side" (same for LGF, Powerline, etc.).
She's already a shameless traffic-leeching whore and you ought not enable her marketing ploy. (What the fuck does she need help for? She's got a built-in audience from the start, unlike us non-celebrities!). I'm with everyone else, give her no choice but to (publicly, of course) "de-link" you; it's embarrassing.
