Read this earlier today at Real Clear Politics and actually thought about tipping you, A--uhh, Hoke. No question, Morris is an animal. I get the impression he's trying to atone for all those years he spent putting his talents at the disposal of a couple of pathological shitheels.

Am I the only one who's cynical enough to notice that Berger's three-year suspended wrist-slap means that he'll be off in time to serve as a member of President Rodham Clinton's inner circle?

I just found myself writing a yahoo letter to relatives in NY and mentioned this blog. I quickly deleted the post when I realized how adolescant I (and everyone else) sounded today.

Have the lefties spunthe Berger thing into him stealing documents that tarnish Bush because Berger was afraid Karl Rove and his evil minons would get to it first?

Sandy Burgler's desperate attempt shows just how damaging he and Clinton believe the documents to be. Though it is unclear whether "the Burgler" was trying to protect himself or Bill or both, or whether Don Clintioni threatened, bribed, bullied or blackmailed him into doing it (doubtless, when dealing with the Don it could be all of the above) the fact is he stole secret documents and destroyed them.

The very worst part of the story is that the media continues to play it down and is allowed to get away with it. If George Shultz or Henry Kissinger had done such a thing the feeding frenzy would have consumed both of them bodily by now. What a fucking disgrace!

But that pales in comparision to the fact that we have the power in our hands to change all this through boycotting the media and refuse to do it. For Christ's sake, we don't have to actually DO anything, we must only NOT do something, i.e., not buy the products of the sponsors of the Liberal Media, but instead buy their competitors products. How fucking hard is that? Buy Dial soap instead of Irish Spring or Wheaties instead of Cheerios.

Goddam it is frustrating to urge this year after year and no one steps forward to join. We really need a leader. ACE's hopes of Hollywood would be over in a nanosecond if he tried. I'd do so myself but with my skeletons-in-the-closet the media would discredit and ruin me in a heartbeat. Don't we have anyone out there with a clean record who wants to stop whinning about it all and really change this world for the better?

If not, we deserve what we get and have no right to whine.

THE RIGHT MUST BOYCOTT!!!

Sandy Berger's punishment is a slap on the wrist. He may be eligible for a Security Clearance in 3 years but let's be realistic. He will NEVER EVER get another security clearance, and he will NEVER EVER be allowed to work for any administration.

This scandal may be getting little air time now, but if he were named to any future Presidential advisory role it would become headline news in a heartbeat.
Even the most Liberal Media loves a juicy story like that.

And you can forget about him ever getting any kind of position that requires Senate confirmation, unless of course the Democrats get 61 Senators.

This is a prime example why I couldn't stand the goddamn fucking Clintons and their flunkies. Casually telling obvious lies (usually to save their all-important image) and breaking the law whenever it suits them. Par for the course in the "most ethical administration in history", as the Clintons promised their term would be, after winning the election.

When Morris has an axe to grind, he's on fuckin' fire. However, when his desire to grind someone into a fine powder overwhelms his sense of logic, he's way off the mark.

Sometimes, when I see him playing futurist on FOX News, I think he prepped for the show by getting stoned off his ass with some friends, thinking of the most insane shit they can think of, and when the laughter hits the pinnacle, he stops right there and delivers it on TV.

This guy needs to get a job with one of those hi-tech research firms that make their money by forecasting insane shit, the wilder the better (don't want to libel companies here, but back in year 1999, one such firm that said by the year 2002, Netscape would control 90% of the Browser market).

But when he's clear minded and he knows all of the players in the story line, he's dead-nuts on. And on this one, he's just that.

I posted an observation that we were lucky to have a guy who had no core beliefs, and would bend with the political shifts as quickly as it suited his reputation.

He started off with socialized medicine, then after Newt and the boys took over Congress, he flipped and took NAFTA, Welfare reform and other such things as great ideas that he'd harbored all along.

No, I didn't say that he was a good President. I said that if he were a true far-left guy like Kerry or Carter, he wouldn't have slicked his way to those positions, but instead would have vetoed everything about those pieces of legislation. Of course I'd rather have had a GOP president in office any day of the week. But given the choice between an opportunist and a committed leftist, I'd take Clinton as the lesser of two evils.

I think Clinton was a below-average President, but given the dynamics of the '90s, especially on the domestic policy side of things, he joined the bandwagon. Foreign policy? About the worst (but not nearly as bad as Carter).

That's my opinoin on Cliinton. Perhaps a fool's opinion, but not the way you framed it.

But, NO, apparently stealing and destroying documents from the National Archives is not a big deal... even if the documents are related to the war on terror and Berger was trying to manipulate the historical record to make the Clinton administration look better.

What's worse than the lack of prison time and anal rape is the fact that they are not even taking away his security clearance! It's only suspended for three years! What the fuck is the point of security clearance if you let people keep their security clearance when they are caught red-handed doing exactly what security clearances are supposed to prevent?
