Ugly: The Top Ten Worst Super Bowl Moments

They're all pretty bad. But Number 3, which I don't remember (though I'm sure I saw the game), sounds horrific.

Arrgghh!!!! I remember number 3. But I had mercifully forgotten about it before the reminder. Thanks, Ace!

I vividly remember #3 as well. Both the fibula and tibia broke. Happened on one of the first plays from scrimmage in the San Francisco/Cincinnati matchup, delaying the game for quite a long time. May have been a decisive factor in the game.

Posted by: Chrees on February 7, 2005 04:56 PM

Hmmm... last sentence was mangled. Combine #4 and #3 and you have a deadly tandem for the Bengals in that game.

Re: #7

The actual final should have been 59-10. On one touchdown play, Kelly had crossed the line of scrimmage when he passed the ball.

Ugh. I was in a roomful of guys when Krumrie broke his leg, and I was the only one who saw it in realtime. I was watching the play and said something about, "Oh my God, did you see his leg?" The other guys all missed it until the replays.... Legs are not supposed to bend that direction (sideways, below the knee), and they're not supposed to flap back and forth....

Posted by: Wiz on February 7, 2005 05:56 PM

Looked like the "bending pencil" illusion, did little Timmy's leg. They really got into the replays with relish. Good times.

Posted by: Uncle Mikey on February 7, 2005 07:09 PM

Heh, "wide right".

Posted by: Iblis on February 7, 2005 08:43 PM

Krumrie refused to leave the stadium to go to the hospital until the game was over. He watched the game on TV lying on a gurney in the locker room.

He later became a D-line coach for the Bengals.

Hey, the Bengals have only been in II Super Bowls out of XXXIX, but have II of the X worst moments.

How could he leave out the game in the late 1970s where the Vikings were down only two points at halftime, with the score 0-2?

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.
