I think it's time to hit the tip jar again. Let's make sure Ace feels guilt chained to this blog.

Ok, I have to "come out of the closet" on this one. Little do all of Sullivan's donors know that I am the one trumped them all. A month ago, I saw Teresa Heinz-Kerry walking down the street and I managed to extort a million bucks from her prentending to be a gin and white raisin wholesaler.

Anyway, I felt bad about my cruel joke and promised that I would use the money for good. So, I took the million bucks and paid Sullivan to shut the hell up for a while.

You know, it's like a common good kinda thing.

Well, I say good luck to Sully on his next blog-money drive.

Plus, you actually have 4 blogads now... Woo hoo.

Anyway, anyone dumb enough to send money to Excitable Andy for "bandwidth costs" deserves to be so fleeced.

Am I the only one here who always thinks back to Allah's classic photochop of Sully on his cross from the Abu Ghraib days whenever I see any discussion of that oh-so expensive Gold-Plated Bandwidth?

I mean, I'm just sayin...

Speaking of which, OT: Allah in a massive blue-on-blue (red on red?) firefight over at Roger L. Simon...

I find it more than mildly annoying that every post allah interjects a comment into, the entire audience focuses solely on whatever he just said. It's like: "OOH, ALLAH'S HERE! Everybody drop what you're doing and cow-tow", or "OOH, ALLAH'S HERE! Let's pick a fight!".

Then again, I'm just insanely jealous of his traffic/popularity.

When I accidently stumbled upon the world of blogging a couple years back (ok, I don't follow trends real fast) I followed links to Sullivan a few times. It didn't take long to get bored with the drama. I haven't been to that site in well over a year. He can stay on hiatus for all of me. Nor do I understand sending money to him when, for the same amount I could get my picture posted on SondraK's ass. Now THAT'S worth a little something.

All I can say is, no wonder Leon Weiseltier couldn't stand little Andy back in the days when he was turning The New Republic from a magazine about politics and the arts into something Just Totally Fabulous !!

LOL. This is so nice, all the shock over him being a blog-´ho, more precisely, a blog-´ho-mo. And he stuck it right in front of the faces of his brown-nose supporters, too.

ACE, I see why you blog. I'll bet you made more that Sully. I don't understand why anyone who makes more than $200k and just sold a screenplay for an undisclosed amount should ask for more more for "beer and tacos." You need to be investigated!

One, I have yet to forgive Allah for taking all that time off without a note. I get stuck with a New York Yankees/Derek Jeter pic with the '04 election pending. Thanks, guy, you obviously DID pick up Haji's work ethic.

Second, when are we gonna take up a fund-raising drive to send Oliver Wills on a tour of every McDonald's in the United States? That would shut Fillet-O-Fish up for a while.....

As I recall, the reason Steven den Beste never had ads, or even offered a PayPall or Amazon Wishlist, was because he wanted to have a zero-obligation blog that he could quit at any time. That despite his hobby costing him more than 2 grand a year in bandwidth.
