Hysteria Over Anti Illegal Alien Measures

Crossposted at The Urban Grind

A Mexican government official is threatening to use international courts to block Proposition 200, a statewide measure which denies most tax payer benefits to illegal aliens. It also requires voters to show proof of citizenship and a government ID when voting at polls.

Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez said in a radio interview Wednesday that an international strategy would be used if other attempts to reverse Proposition 200 fail, the Associated Press reported.
"We are seeking all the legal opportunities that exist, first using the legal capacities of the United States itself and ... if that does not work, bringing it to international tribunals," AP quotes Derbez as saying.

What part of the word "illegal" don't these people understand?

Meanwhile, so-called "Republican" Governor Huckabee of Arkansas is bent out of shape over similar anti-illegal alien legislation in that state saying that it's nothing but "inflammatory...race baiting and demogoguery."

I hate to say it, but it looks to me like these politicians care nothing for securing our borders and protecting citizens against terrorism, crime, drugs and ID theft. They don't care if hospitals in border towns go bankrupt. They don't care that the taxes of hard-working Americans go up, when corporations get corporate welfare by hiring illegals at a fraction of the cost of American citizens. Nor do they care about rampant ID theft.

In fact, Arizona has the highest rate of ID theft in the country.

Selling counterfeit ID's and Social Security cards has actually become somewhat of a business in Mississippi, with one illegal alien charging up to $80 for counterfeit resident alien and Social Security Cards.

But nooo. Neither Republicans nor Democrats will go near this illegal alien problem with a ten foot pole, as they are too busy whoring for Hispanic votes.

And yet, fully 65+% of Americans support the legislation, so why do the politicians not listen? Hillary could get elected if she keeps saying one thing, Get rid of illegals, enforce borders. Thats the mantra and it will work.

In the spirit of Paul Anka, may I ask the following off topic question?

Where's Ace???

Seriously. Has he already gone "Hollywood" on us and forgotten his legions of...his scores of...his dozens...his devoted fan? It oughta be time for a Sundance update!

Unless, of course, he's still banging Blossom. The less said about that the better.

I have no idea about Ace.

If Senor Derbez' government wishes to pay for all the services used by his felon forces, including policing, medical, anti-terrorist, social, etc, then we may have some starting point for discussions. Of course, the discussion should include the merciless intimidation of U.S. citizens crossing the border into his country, the illegal detention of U.S. citizens in his country's jails, the outright hostility from many of his countrymen toward anything American, etc.

Until then, stay out of our face, get a life, and stop teaching your citizens how to enter our country ILLEGALLY. That means, as soon as they cross the border they are criminals. Or does he not understand what a criminal is?

Barring a candidate for pres similar to Tom McClintock from CA, I would vote for Hillary if she stumped on a balanced budget and tough anti-illegal, tight border policy. I despise her...loathe her even, but I would vote for that.

I can't believe the first part of this post. You Americans should drop to your knees and thank the gods you didn't "sign up" for the International Court of "Justice". How the fuck does the MEXICAN foreign secretary have the BALLS to say such crap.
Unfreakingbelivable.

That Derbez guy- he's funny. Who's going to enforce the mighty "international tribunals" decision?

The UN?

tee hee hee......boy that is funny. The'll probably ask to use our military to enforce their ruling.

Hey Derbez- When you find a police agency willing to attempt to secure these funds from America, give us a call. Until then, shut the hell up please....

The Republicans aren't whoring for the hispanic vote, the Donks are. The Republicans are whoring for the campaign donations of the cheap labor lobby.

Posted by: Peter on January 28, 2005 11:07 PM

I think it's safe to say both parties are whoring for the Hispanic vote. Maybe the Donks a bit more than the GOP.

Tom Tancredo (R)of Colorado is the only Pol. I've seen with the cajones, if I may borrow a word, to stand up to illegal immigration. Let's give credit where it is due.

You're right about Tom Tancredo, Skinny. I would like to see more politicians like him. Tom Tancredo comes to mind as well. But that's about it.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

Politico is reporting that multiple people have abruptly resigned from Eric Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign: "Members of senior leadership have departed the campaign, including Courtni Pugh, a strategic adviser who served as Swalwell's top liaison to organized labor groups."

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.
That hissing sound you hear is the air going out of the Swalwell campaign. UPDATE: No it wasn't, it was just Swalwell one-cheek-sneaking out a fart on camera

Oh, but it's alright with me now

Now twenty people will tell me it's not obscure, it was huge in their hometown and played at their prom. That's how it usually goes. When I linked Donnie Iris's "Love is Like a Rock," everyone said they knew that one and that his other song (which I didn't know at all) Ah Leah! was huge in their area.
