Pinkerton/Ace Get Results: Tucker Carlson Fired; Crossfire Cancelled

Fair is fair.

If they can cancel quality shows like Manimal and Airwolf, it's high time they canned dreck like this.

And as for Tucker? Lose the bow-tie, man. It's just not happening.

If you want to try a distinctive look, maybe you can dress up like Ducky/"The Duckman" from Pretty in Pink. I think you can make that work for you.

Not to mention The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer or Scooby Doo, Where Are You? after they brought on that turd-maker Scrappy Doo. Get rid of The Forehead and even if you still get cancelled, you at least can hold your head up knowing that your show's quality beat that of these classic TV offerings.

The bow-tie definitely did it. It didn't work for Crazy Raj on The Apprentice, either. Let it be a warning to all who would try to revive the bow-tie.

In a side note, the fedora didn't help Drudge when he had a TV show, either.

I've always thought Tucker Carlson was just a strawman. Even the name, "Tucker." It screams pretentious overprivileged blueblood WASP. Tucker Carlson seems like he was created by a focus group of liberals who were asked what they thought a conservative should look and act like.

Come to think of it, isn't that more or less what heppened? He was hired by CNN after all.

Tall Dave -- you're exactly right. Dan Akyroyd was unwilling to reprise his role from "Trading Places" and Greg Marmalard and Douglas C. Niedermeyer were also unavailable.

If Tucker Carlson didn't exist, the left would have invented him.

Tucker Carlson is what liberals wish conservatives looked like. The fact that we're all sex gods like Ted Nugent(young version) scares the shit out of them.

On a serious note, I actually find myself in full agreement with Klein:
----------------------
He said all of the cable networks, including CNN, have overdosed on programming devoted to arguing over issues. Klein said he wants more substantive programming that is still compelling.

"I doubt that when the president sits down with his advisers they scream at him to bring him up to date on all of the issues," he said. "I don't know why we don't treat the audience with the same respect."
----------------

This is the reason I don't watch Hannity & Colmes. The format is absolutely incapable of finding solutions to issues. The format is nothing more or less than a copy of The Jerry Springer Show, with Policy Wonks as trailer trash. Amazing how easily they wear the role.

What Krakatoa said, but replace "Hannity & Colmes" with "just about every news discussion show out there today".

I feel kinda sorry for Tucker. Here's a conservative getting fired from the media, and we conservatives who are always complaining about the lack of conservatives in the media just say "oh well, them's the breaks."

So we see the end of CROSSFIRE and like wise we have saw end the carrers of DAN RATHER and TOM BROKAW will we see PETER JENNINGS take a hit what about BARBRA WALTERS and WOLF BLITZER? and what about NIGHTLINE or DATELINE or EYE ON AMERICA? this has just not been the right decade for the liberal news media JUST GREAT

LOL:
Somebody should write a book about the greatest drinking stories of O'Toole, Burton, Harris, and Caine. One of my faves was Richard Harris went on a six week bender in the South of France without telling wifey. Upon return, she's screaming, and he simply replied "why didn't you pay the ransom"?
