Do people still show up at sports games waving signs with Bible verses on them?

Wonder how those folks would fare in Holland.

As I've written before, to libs the only true evil on the planet is Christianity. Ironic, considering its the root of all the freedoms they enjoy so much today.

This is already pretty old news. The mayor of Rotterdam has already stated that he was wrong to remove it and has made his apologies. But saying the terrorists won this round is wrong (they are definately ahead one with the killing tho) because the effect was a call to people to write it in chalk next to their frontdoor and to some succes. It is interesting to note that our first amendment is a anti-discrimination one and the fourth one protects freedom of speach. This can create some weird effects sometimes.

On the otherhand the attacks on a muslin school today have shown that the aftermath might just be as bad as the attack. The central muslim comite (which was created to help the dialogue between the islamic population and the goverment) has now also requested permanent protection against other attacks reducing the effort of the police in other matters.

Also a weird number play is that the death of Van Gogh was exactly 911 days after the murder of the dutch politician Pim Fortuyn. Although he was killed by a animal rights actitvist Pim did take a hard stance against the islam and the arabian culture in general. Also the date of the murder was 112 which is our national alarm number where of course the american one is 911.

You can't make this stuff up.. no-one excused away the van Gogh murder. If anything there was a big backlash against the government.
