Hack Attack on Conservative Blogs?

Gee, so surprising from our liberal friends, the passionate defenders of the right to free speech (their own, that is, and no one else's).

Thanks to the Fat Kid.

Or, Maybe Not: Readers tell me that some "weenie blogs" are down, too, plus most of these outages seem connected to Hosting Matters, which hasn't said anything about a DoD attack.

And some down sites are back up.

So, I don't know. I guess I made a wild-eyed, unsubstantiated attack on my opponents.

Which is pretty much the entire point of this blog.

This is not in the least surprising.

Yeah, and very infuriating.

You know, I've already got an ulcer, I think after today I'm gonna have a few more.

I'd like to start an unsubstantiated rumor that the DoS attacks originate from an ip that seems to resolve to dirtydanny@cbs.com.

Sonofa..now the link appears to be down - Jarvis was the H/T for that link.

No, I think it's just Hosting Matters' network getting hammered. The host a lot of the big blogs, and they've been up and down all day, but they haven't said anything about a DoS attack.

And some of the weenie blogs have been down too. For what it's worth.

Posted by: Pixy Misa on November 2, 2004 07:33 PM

Err, if that's wrong - sorry about the tip off. I'm nervous like a long tailed cat in a room full of rockin chairs.

Posted by: fat kid on November 2, 2004 07:48 PM

Dude, I don't care. I'll throw anything up on the blog. I'd rather be first than right.
