| Kerry Losing in Oregon? »

Drudge: Tied in Ohio, Kerry's Lead in Florida Grows by One to +2In case you're having trouble getting on to Drudge, that's the screaming siren banner. Regarding Florida: Beware the likely-hinky male-female splits. It could very well be that most Bush voters are just getting to the polls... oh, right around now. Vote, vote, vote. More: I hate stealing from Drudge, but his site does seem to be straining. So... OH Tied FL Kerry +2 PA Kerry+2-4 WI Kerry+4 MI Kerry+2 NH Bush +7 // Senate Winners: Martinez FL Thune SD Bunning KY Salazar CO // Losers: Bowles NC Coors Co As Drudge points out: Early exit polls in Florida showed Gore ahead by +3 in 2000. From that perspective, Bush is actually doing a little bit better. posted by Ace at 06:21 PM
Commentspanhandle voters are open another hour and vote late, remember 2000? They are HEAVY Republican. GOTV has to work or FL is a quagmire again. Posted by: Jennifer on November 2, 2004 06:24 PM
Just seconding Jennifer, the folks in the Panhandle won't be fooled again. Posted by: Ron on November 2, 2004 06:31 PM
Florida is guaranteed a Bush surge late unless GOTV is totally bollixed. Not worried about that one. Posted by: on November 2, 2004 06:31 PM
Oops, last comment by me. Posted by: someone on November 2, 2004 06:32 PM
As more data comes in, it looks that much better for W. Realclearpolitics.com has now thrown Hawaii as a tossup. Bush hasn't dropped below 227 there. Stay on Target! Posted by: Iblis on November 2, 2004 06:38 PM
Bush +7 in NH?? These exit polls are jacked. Ignore them. Posted by: on November 2, 2004 06:39 PM

Lost Seventies Mystery Click: The Darkest Song Ever Recorded?
I think Professor of Rock (on YouTube) claimed this song was so upsetting that people used to pull over to the side of the road when it came on the radio. It's about a fatal plane crash, but obviously it suggests a fatal car crash too, which could wig out a driver. It's like one of those nasty 70s anti-war body horror movies. Not for the squeamish. I'm not even going to post the lyrics because they're upsetting too.

That theme gets me charged. Compilation of all Police Squad! openings. They're all the same except for the last few seconds where they reveal the Special Guest Star and the title(s).

Soft weak poop from the early 80s Mystery Click
I never liked this song, but it is memorable. In a weak, annoying way. The kid's in shock up and down the block The folks are home playing beat the clock Down at the golden cup They set the young ones up Under the neon light Selling day for night It's alright Nobody rides for free (nobody, nobody) Nobody gets it like they want it to be (nobody, nobody) Nobody hands you any guarantee (nobody, nobody) Nobody

Former CIA operative John Kiriakou talks with Matt Taibbi about the Brennan/Comey Coup
Both guys are old liberals, maybe even of the far-left variety, and both are appalled by the Democrat/Deep State coup against the US. Kiriakou says that CIA officers were legally obligated to report to the Inspector General John Brennan's repeated overruling of actual intelligence to encode his partisan conspiracy theories into US intel product, but of course they didn't.
