ABCNews About to Air Terrorist Tape (on East Coast)

Okay, I guess it's okay to watch for five minutes. Airing it now, they promised.

Update: I nailed it perfectly. They're so predictable. The tape says "You [Americans] are as guilty as Bush and Cheney," but they do not air the part specifically threatening attacks if Bush and Cheney are re-elected.

Oddly enough, ABCNews didn't seem to mind if the tape could be used as anti-Bush propaganda. But they sure did want to avoid letting it be used as anti-Kerry propaganda.

for ten minutes before that they were showing that footage from the ST. Paul Minnesota journalists embedded with the 101st i think. they show the seals and the doors being opened it was daytime. They do not say what was in there or anything just show the guys looking at some sort of explosives. As expected they show just enough to leave you thinking A HAH they were there and a hoard of Iraqi's came in and Muled out 400 tons of HRX and MDX by filling condoms with the material and swallowing them.

Hume showed a bit to on Special Report. I think he really likes stickin' it to his old network.
They didn't seem to play the "Kerry Endorsement" either, but there was the "GUilty Guilty Guilty" crack and "Rivers of Blood".

Will ABC news take responsibility IF they attack and they NEVER told the American people?
Are American lives worth the endorsement of john Kerry?

Damn you, Ace, you made me tune into the network news (something I try never to do). Yes, they played a bit of the tape, although they led with a pro-Kerry puff piece, and the Bush hit piece Jennifer was talking about.

Schmoll: 53% of New Jersey likely voters say their neighbors are voting for Ciattarelli, while 47% say the cheater/grifter Mikie Sherrill
The "who do you think your neighbors are voting for" question is designed to avoid the Shy Tory problem, wherein conservative people lie to schmollsters because they don't want to go on record with a likely left-winger telling them who they're really voting for. So instead the question is who do you think your neighbors are voting for, so people can talk about who they themselves support without actually having to admit it to a left-wing rando stranger recording their answers on the phone.

Interesting football history: How the forward pass was created in response to the nineteen -- 19! -- people killed playing football in 1905 alone
The original rules of football did not allow forward passes. The ball was primarily advanced by running, with blockers forming lines with interlocked arms and just smashing into the similarly-interlocked defensive lines. It was basically Greek hoplite spear formations but with a semi-spherical ball. As calls to ban the sport entirely grew, some looked for ways to de-emphasize mass charges as the primary means of advancing the ball, and some specifically championed allowing a passer to throw the ball forward.

Atari to release former competitor Intellivision with 45 games for $149
I always thought Intellivision was kinda lame (to the extent a cutting edge videogame box can be lame).
Intellivision insists upon itself.
Pitfall was a really good game. I don't know if it was available on Intellivision. Update: It was. But I don't know if it's included in the new unit.
