And Now the Pew Poll, Too

Eight points, and that from a poll which has tended to show, ahem, more generous levels of support for Kerry than commonly assumed.

It's getting silly.

Update: It Just Got Sillier. Jackie Stallone's psychic dogs now scent a Bush victory, too.

Her dogs show Bush with a 49-44 lead, trending well with Catholic women.

Hat tip to Rich Lowery at NRO.

Correction: Mark of Rational Explications says I've got a lot of loose shit going on with my math; the lead is 8, according to Geraghty, not 6 as I first wrote.

I could have sworn the poll was 48-42. But it's 48-40.

Update: Poll's now up.

Ace, not to nit-pick, or anything, but unless I have had to little caffeine today, I think the lead is 8 points, not 6.

My Ouija board says Nader's going to kick everyone's asses come november. Then again it also predicted that Kirsten Dunst would show up at my house drunk, horny, and wearing nothing but a rhinestone tiara and a smile. So far that one is still a bit 'iffy'

One of Liberace's HIV+ dogs predicted Bush would carry California, and that Dan Rather would host a variety show with Washingtonienne starting in November.

Ace,

Thanks for posting that loons photo. I've been waiting for someone to do that.

Is he really 6'3 and 150 pounds? That's awfully tall and skinny isn't it? I mean, thats sorta like Kerry's weight and size.

There is some LOOSE shit going on here!

That guy's got crazy all over his face.

Is Ter-AHZ-ah still doing her impression of Dr. Ruth channeling Bagdad Bob?

"No! Ze is NOT behind! Ze is tied, or ze is ahead by one point. Did you zee Zogby? Did you? Ver is John? Zer is a lot of looze zite going on around here"

^ pts, 8pts, whatever... polling data just keeps getting worse for old Lurch, eh? ;]

Senator Phil? I'm 6'1" and 165 and rail thin, so yeah - 6'3" and 150lbs is verging on emaciated. Weight drops much below that at that height, especially if you have large bones, and one starts looking like a Biafran hunger victim.

Or at least one. She carried it everywhere for protection.

1977 interview shows that Barbara Walters has always been a seaward and Dolly Parton always had "country class"
Walters actually asks Dolly Parton if she knows that people think she's a joke. This because Walters can't get over the fact that a show-woman has 1, big breasts, and 2, dresses a bit outrageously because, get this, she's an entertainer. A stage performer. You know, someone people pay money to see live and expect them to put on a show.
She never would attack Liberace for wearing glitter-tuxedos. But she's mad that Dolly Parton makes Barbara Walters look bad through association (by being a woman). Babs, you wish people associated the two of you. Believe me, we can tell the difference.

Months ago, I reported that the final Zodiac cypher had been cracked and the name of the killer revealed. And the name of the killer turned out to be someone suspected in the unsolved Black Dahlia murder. The general tone of my mention of this was "serious you guys, this is real."
Well, it's not real. It's total bullshit.
Sorry about that. I did two things: 1, I bought into something, a conspiracy theory really, because it was new and exciting. And 2, I allowed a self-declared "expert" to snow me over with his "expert" claims about solving ciphers, an alleged expertise I could not challenge because I know practically nothing about codebreaking. I remember being similarly swindled by self-declared "experts" babbling about "chromatic aberrations." (Although I didn't really buy into that, but I found it "interesting" and I wasn't strongly skeptical about it. Hey they said they're "experts," they must know that they're talking about, right?)
I screwed up. It won't be the last time, I'm sure.
