Evan Thomas: Liberal Psychic

"There's one other base here, the media. Let's talk a little media bias here. The media, I think, wants Kerry to win and I think they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards I'm talking about the establishment media, not Fox. They're going to portray Kerry and Edwards as being young and dynamic and optimistic and there's going to be this glow about them, collective glow, the two of them, that's going to be worth maybe 15 points." -- Evan Thomas, Newsweek

Well, now. Apparently Evan "Dead Zone" Thomas can see the future by touching liberals:

If you can't read that headline, it's "Kerry's Bet on Edwards and the Politics of Optimism."

Oh, and in "web-exclusive commentary," we have this unpredictable analysis as well: Campaign Paragon: John Edwards has morphed into an almost-perfect candidate. And his sunny outlook is infecting Kerry, too.

Hmmmm... sunny outlook, almost perfect, paragon.

Wasn't some Yoda-like Newsweek writer just telling us that Kerry-Edwards would be portrayed as "dynamic," "optimistic," and "with this glow about them"?

Whether psychically attuned to the future or else simply having inside information about his own liberal magazine and the liberal mindset generally, credit Thomas for having the integrity to admit the blindingly obvious.

The Liberal Media is Smitten Update: Check out MyPetJawa's run down on the media's barrage of valentines in John Edwards' direction.

Give the liberal media credit: Unlike that abused enlistee in Full Metal Jacket, the liberal medai do have the common courtesy of providing a reach-around.

Maybe Thomas was tipped off by Johnny Coldcuts. Johnny is from the future after all.....

Did you hear the great news about the Federal Marriage Amendment? It died in the Senate, so there's nothing stopping Kerry and Edwards now. BTW, neither of them showed up to vote - my theory is that they meant to, but ended up groping each other in the Senate coat closet and lost track of time.

Ace,

Thank you for replacing that picture of Rosie the Hutt with the Bushgirls. They're like sorbet to the mind's (horribly abused by lez-fatty) palate.

Shameless plug, but relevant and (ahem) 'well researched'.

I did a quick search of adjectives used to describe John Edward's and posted them here. Read them and tell me about the 'unbiased' media.

I guess "Kedwards" and their campaigners in the major media have learned from watching Carter, Reagan, and Clinton how far smiles can carry a candidate. I've long been doubtful about "women's suffrage" in part because I fear that women have an especially great susceptibility to seeing a candidate and saying "Oo, such a nice man! We should all vote for him."

There, that should draw some interesting responses.

That "optimism" reference got me too. I haven't met a liberal optimimst in several years. Has anyone else?

Posted by: on July 15, 2004 10:46 AM

I think liberals are more optimistic when there's a Democrat in the White House. Right now they're all pessimists because they think American freedom will be extinguished any day now by jack-booted thugs in the Bush=Hitler Nazi patrol.

If Kerry were to get elected, I bet every liberal I know will get a sudden case of incurable optimism. But if he does get elected, it will be ironic, since he got onto the ticket and gets all of his points from trashing a booming economy and the prosecution of a war that has deposed one of the bloodiest tyrants of our time, liberated 25 million people, created a democratic constitution in the Middle East and brought freedom and hope to people who have been oppressed since before I was alive. John Kerry doesn't see any of that - and somehow he's the optimist?

In response to someone asking why the video tape doesn't show Tyler Robinson's face (PS, it does, but it's crappy video so it's blurry):

Candace Owens
@RealCandaceO

Because as I demonstrated on my show, there were MANY young men that all woke up and decided to dress in Maroon shirts and light shorts on the day of the Charlie's assassination.

The footage can be any one of these young men and in my opinion is likely multiple of them.

If Tyler Robinson's defense would like to contact me-- I'd be happy to supply them the folder of the maroon boys that I began archiving when I noticed the bizarre fashion trend.

I have thus far ID'd two of them, but will focus on IDing the rest of them when I am back on air.

I have maintained that the Feds had multiple decoy maroon boys on the ground that day. Without a clear image, they certainly cannot declare it is Tyler Robinson which is why all the Zionist influencers are hoping they can simply hypnotize the public into trusting blurry images and videos.
For such an "open and shut case" they have thus far provided ZERO evidence of anything outside of a criminal government conspiracy, the likes of which hasn't been seen since the JFK assassination.
