The Morning Report — 2/5/25

—J.J. Sefton

Good morning kids. Now that the light has been turned on in the kitchen so to speak, President Donald Trump is not only dousing everything with Plutonium-infused RAID, and the cockroaches who were once doing the multi-trillion dollar mambo to "hey baba-rebop" as per the old Robert Klein routine, but they are shrieking in anger and terror. Hopefully they'll go legs up any second now and can be swept up and disposed a la the garbage trucks in Soylent Green, to be turned into Soylent Marxist insect meat and force-fed to the Greta Thunbergs of this world, until they choke on it.

Considering our budget over the past couple decades has soared into the trillions, the fact that USAID was allocated merely billions each year still is significant in that all the money, minus whatever was skimmed off the top to wet the beaks of the Democrats, went to a veritable rogues gallery of anti-American, anti-Western crackpot, terroristic thugocracies, kleptocrats and tyrants that have shed rivers o blood of their own people and us in the process. Those who are shrieking loudest are both in on the grift and hate this country as much if not more than the scum getting the dough-rey-mi. And this is just USAID, wait until the DOge axe really starts being wielded at the rest of the bureaucracy.

And speaking of cockroaches shrieking out their death rattle, this will warm the cockles of your heart:

The reaction of some U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) employees when the Dept. of Government Efficiency (DOGE) came to their Washington D.C. office last week is raising more questions about the shadowy agency.

Contractor Kristina Drye, who is employed at USAID described to ABC News a scene reminiscent of the kind of mad scramble historically witnessed when a corrupt government has fallen and officials are desperately trying to get rid of evidence of wrongdoing.

Drye described USAID employees taking down pride flags and removing books that she felt might be “incriminating” as well as how “no one was talking” as DOGE team members began their review of the operations of the agency that sends billions of taxpayer dollars abroad for a variety of reasons ranging from disaster relief to funding regime change.

She described her concerns over DOGE setting up automatic transcription of USAID employee Google meets and how, over the weekend, she lost access to work computer.

USAID’s Director of Security John Voorhees and his deputy Brian McGill were both placed on administrative leave after denying system access to DOGE employees who were eventually able to gain access to the secure systems in order to conduct their analysis.

Such actions seem out of place considering that USAID employees and managers have had since early November to anticipate the incoming Trump administration and the anticipated arrival of DOGE.

Hiding flags and books and attempting to prevent access to the systems that track secretive government payments lend more strength to the concerns about fraud expressed by Elon Musk than they do to claims that USAID is operating with full transparency and accountability.

President Trump ordered a 90 day pause in foreign development assistance via USAID while the DOGE team reviews that agency’s efficiencies and consistency with the new administration’s foreign policy objectives.

I hope Pam Bondi and Discipline will follow the money and prosecute with extreme prejudice wherever it leads, now that she has been confirmed as the new AG!!

The other Yuuuge story this morning is what President Trump said during his meting with Bibi Netanyahu regarding Gaza. Ho Lee Fook!

Trump said he would deploy US troops to the territory “if it’s necessary” and that he imagined “the world’s people” occupying an “international unbelievable place” that would be regarded as “the Riviera of the Middle East,” with some Palestinians permitted to resettle there.

Netanyahu all but endorsed the idea, saying: “I think it’s something that could change history and it’s worthwhile really pursuing this avenue.”

The Israeli leader said “[Trump] sees a different future for that piece of land that has been the focus of so much terrorism, so many attacks against us, so many trials and so many tribulations.

“He has a different idea, and I think it’s worth paying attention to this.” Trump, who frequently denounces prior US military interventions in the Middle East, did not lay out a timeline for either the proposed US occupation or the relocation of Gaza’s residents, but he presented the overall plan as a well-considered “strong recommendation” to bring peace to the region.

“I’ve studied this very closely over a lot of months, and I’ve seen it from every different angle,” Trump said.

. . . Egyptian and Jordanian leaders have already rejected Trump’s request that they take in Gazans. But Trump claimed Tuesday that he believes Amman and Cairo will agree to do it, and that Gazans would be thrilled to relocate.

“Gaza is a hellhole right now,” he said. “It was before the bombing started, frankly, and we’re going to give people a chance to live in a beautiful community that’s safe and secure, and I think you’re going to see tremendous outpouring of support.”

The president made a series of escalating remarks about Gaza throughout the day Tuesday, and said in the Oval Office before the press conference that he thought residents “wouldn’t want to go back” after being relocated.“I do see a long-term ownership position,” Trump said at the press conference when asked about the potential US takeover. “Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent, in a really magnificent area that nobody would know.”

First of all. the notion of deploying US Troops here is insane. No, just flat out no. Even if this idea of remaking Gaza into a new Riviera had a snowball's chance in hell of sucess (which it doesn't) US boots on the ground is a line in the sand of a region already soaked in American blood, particularly in Beirut which at one point was a Middle Eastern Riviera until the same ideology turned it into Gaza 25 years ago.

While I appreciate Trump's support for Israel, and that it's good to both think out of the box if for no other reason than to force people to see things they may not want to, and to force the hand of your opponents. That said, this is all well and good on President Trump. But the real problem is, as we all should know by now is ISLAM itself.

Unless and until the majority of Muslims openly reject the main tenets of their so-called religion, that is the submission and or death of unbelievers, particularly Jews, then while we may have gained some time and some measure of security, I'm afraid the past 1,500 years or so of history means we will have more innocent blood spilled in the name of Mohammedanism.

With the exception of pre-Jimmy Carter Iran, the Arab and broader Muslim world despite being awash in petrodollars, have spent the past 77 years primarily focused on one thing, eradicating the State of Israel and then going on to finish the work of Adolf Hitler by killing every Jew on the planet as is their prime directive stated in pretty

The best perhaps we can hope for, if/when the dust settles in Gaza and its residents return is the permanent removal of their terrorist/Islamist/Anti-Semitic government. Elections have consequences and remember it's Gazans that keep voting for the terrorists and Jew-haters. Purple thumbs and/or Dominion voting machines notwithstanding. And that's because they do not want to live side by side with Israel. Kudos to Trump for calling out the complete delusional failure of Peace Process Incorporated.

To mangle the lyrics of Rogers and Hammerstein, "Call Me a cockeyed Pessimist,' or perhaps realist. Again, I give credit to Trump for at least putting this out there and taking a blowtorch to the abject failures of Foggy Bottom in its support of the irredentism of the fake "Palestinians" and their enablers around the world and here.

This is who you have to deal with . . .

Hamas tortured and executed terrorists within its ranks who allegedly had gay sex, shocking documents show — as sources added some male Israeli victims of the Oct. 7 massacre were raped in captivity.

The Iranian proxy terror group had a running list of recruits who were found to have failed Hamas’ “morality checks” by having same-sex relations — and they heavily paid the price, according to documents recovered by the Israel Defense Forces and shared with The Post.

The documents reveal the “crimes” that were allegedly committed by 94 Hamas recruits — lumping together “homosexual conversations,” “flirting with girls without a legal relationship” and “sodomy” in with serious allegations of child rape and torture.

This has kind of a Colonel Kurtzian hypocritical splendor to it, all things considered, no? Continuing...

It is unclear what happened to the recruits identified as “unacceptable” to Hamas, but homosexuality is illegal in Gaza and can result in years of prison — and even death. Such was the case with former Hamas commander Mahmoud Ishtiwi, who was executed in 2016 after he was accused of having gay sex. Ishtiwi’s confession and apparent testimony of the brutal treatment he received was included in the documents shared with The Post.
Butt, Butt Queers for "Palestine?!" Long distance def dedication to them!

"Qom fly with me, off the Tehran Hilton roof."

To mangle the lyrics of Rogers and Hammerstein, "Call Me a cockeyed Pessimist,' or perhaps realist.

Nation building begins at home: How about forcing all the Democrats to leave California. Or to prevent them from infecting normal America, abolish their party, remove them from government and turn to restoring its former lustre. And talk of California seceding is once again making news. Meh, cut the shithole coastal cities loose and we get to keep the farmlands, forests, watershed and at least one port. The rest can go Gaza itself.

Have a great day.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

"Around Ten" Murdered as Gunman of "Unknown" Identity Goes on Shooting Spree in Sweden

—Ace

The new definition of "Unknown" is Everybody Knows.

Around 10 people were killed in a shooting at an adult education centre on Tuesday, Swedish police said, marking the country's deadliest gun attack in what the prime minister called a "painful day."

Police said the gunman was believed to be among those killed and a search for other possible victims was continuing at the school, located in the city of Orebro. The gunman's motive was not immediately known.

"We know that 10 or so people have been killed here today. The reason that we can't be more exact currently is that the extent of the incident is so large," local police chief Roberto Eid Forest told a news conference.

Forest said police believed the gunman had acted alone and that terrorism was not currently suspected as a motive, though he cautioned that much remained unknown. He said the suspected gunman had not previously been known to police.

We'll see. The fact that they haven't released his name yet tells me it's not Sven or Bjorn.

..

Ali Elmokad was outside the Orebro University Hospital, looking for his relative, not yet knowing if he was among the injured or the dead.

"We've been trying to get hold of him all day, we haven't been successful," he said, adding that he had a friend who also attended the school. "What she saw was so terrible. She only saw people lying on the floor, injured and blood everywhere."
Police said it was still going through the crime scene and had searched several addresses in Orebro after the attack.

Late on Tuesday, police vans and personnel were still outside an apartment building in central Orebro that had been raided earlier.

"We saw a lot of police with drawn weapons," said Lingam Tuohmaki, 42, who lives in the same building. "We were at home and heard a commotion outside."

Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said it was the worst mass shooting in Swedish history.
"It is hard to take in the full extent of what has happened today -- the darkness that now lowers itself across Sweden tonight," he told a news conference.

Some draw a connection between this latest mass murder and the burning of a Koran publicly.

But I know that can't be right, because authorities swear they have no idea of what the motive could have been, and they never lie to protect Diversity, which is Our Strength.

The man who burned the Koran was shot to death on the streets of Sweden a few days ago.

John Sexton notes that while the Swedish authorities haven't arrested his murderer, they did convict his friend of offending Islamic Extremist sensibilities.

The last time I wrote about Sweden, just five days ago, was to highlight the murder of an anti-Islam activist named Salwan Momika. Momika was shot to death last Wednesday and so far no one has been arrested. He was infamous in the Muslim world because he had publicly burned the Koran a few times, specifically to make the point that Islam was not compatible with the modern world. His murderer seems to have proven his point. Advertisement

But there's more to the story because Momika and another man were also on trial for the burning of the Korans. He was supposed to be sentenced on the day he was murdered and a few days later his fellow defendant in the case was found guilty.

Bear in mind, a man burned a Koran in Manchester, UK, and was immediately jailed. Rape gangsters remain free, but the guy who burned a book is already in the clink.

The man burned the Koran, it turns out, because his daughter had been killed in what is delicately being called "the Israel conflict." In other words, Hamas murdered her.

A man has admitted a racially aggravated public order offence after setting fire to a Quran which was live-streamed on social media in Manchester.

Martin Frost, 47, was filmed holding a flag of Israel before tearing out pages of the Islamic holy book and setting fire to it in Manchester on Saturday (February 1), a court heard. He had publicised the event online beforehand, and it was streamed on social media, Manchester Magistrates' Court was told.

The 'trigger' for his actions was the death of his daughter in the Israeli conflict which had affected his mental health, the court heard on Monday (February 3).

Frost, of Barkway Road, Stretford, Trafford, pleaded guilty to a single charge of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment or alarm to Fahad Iqbal, by displaying some writing, sign or other visible representation which was threatening, abusive or insulting thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress.

The UK will now enact Islamic blasphemy laws, making it a crime to "offend Muslims."

The Telegraph:

Angela Rayner is planning to create a council on Islamophobia and is lining up a former Tory minister to lead it, The Telegraph can reveal.

The 16-strong council will help advise on drawing up an official government definition for anti-Muslim discrimination and will provide advice to ministers on tackling Islamophobia, according to sources.

Dominic Grieve, the former Conservative attorney general and a prominent Remainer, has been "recommended" to chair the council within Ms Rayner's Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) as a politician who has been actively involved in tackling Islamophobia.

He chaired the Citizens' UK Commission on Islam, which aimed to promote dialogue between Muslim and non-Muslim communities, and wrote a foreword to a controversial all-party parliamentary group's report in 2018 that set out a definition of Islamophobia, which the Labour Party adopted.

The definition has been criticised for being so widely drawn that it curbs free speech, amounts to a de facto blasphemy law and stifles legitimate criticism of Islam as a religion.

"Our Strength" is certainly putting up a lot of Wins.

David Strom comments:

The original paper on which the anti-blasphemy laws are likely to be based specifically calls out people discussing the Muslim rape gangs as bigots. Having rapists roam the streets is an unfortunate fact of life, but calling them and their culture out is beyond the pale.

I can't figure out whether Labour's obsession with placating Muslim extremists in Britain is due to fear, a desire to pander to an important constituent group that keeps them in power or some combination of the two.

More Unknown assailants are plaguing Sweden with a series of bomb attacks.

There have been 27 bombings in the first 27 days of the year. Sixty bombings in the past two months.

In Sweden.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson admitted that his government has lost control over a burgeoning wave of violence sweeping the country, amid escalating public concern.

The acknowledgment came during an emergency meeting where Kristersson announced the acceleration of new legislation targeting juvenile involvement in criminal activities.

The beginning of 2025 has seen bombings carried out at an average of one per day, leading to 27 bombings by January 27 -- including several in residential communities, the Nordic Times reported.

"Sweden is in the midst of a new wave of violence; it's primarily the bombings that are increasing, with almost one occurring every day," Kristersson told reporters on Thursday.

"It's abundantly clear that we do not have control over this wave of violence; otherwise, we wouldn't be here," he added.

In 2024, there were 317 total blasts reported by police, which has coincided with a troubling escalation in gang-related conflicts.

According to the Swedish prime minister, gang violence is now affecting entire communities, showing "total indifference" to the consequences in residential areas. The Swedish Police Authority estimated in 2024 that 1,700 under-18s were active members of criminal networks.

In response, the Swedish government will bring forward planned legislation that will grant police more powers to detain children under the age of 15 in some circumstances. Originally due in the summer of 2026, the law is now slated to come into effect as early as 1 October this year.

Nevertheless, Kristersson described these criminal issues as "inherited" over a long period, suggesting that resolving them would be a project that extends through the entire decade.

It's ironic that Diversity, Which Is Our Strength, keeps shooting us and blowing us up.

It's a sad thing when Our Strength keeps killing us.

FBI Stops #Resisting Trump's Order and Turns Over List of Agents Assigned to Political Persecution of J6ers

—Ace

FBI officials were threatening to resign or simply refuse to comply.

No wonder they wanted to keep the information secret.

The FBI under the Criminal Wray and Merrick Garland devoted one seventh of its entire workforce to tracking down the J6ers and putting grandmothers in jail for years.

One seventh.

If one seventh of the organization can be detailed to political persecution, seems like the FBI could afford to lose one seventh of its staff.

CNN:

FBI officials have complied with demands to provide the Justice Department with a list of thousands of employees who worked on investigations related to the January 6, 2021, US Capitol riot, according to people familiar with the situation.

The demand has caused consternation among FBI employees who fear it is meant to amass a list of personnel for possible termination by the Trump administration.

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, in a Friday memo with the subject line "Terminations," had given FBI officials a noon deadline Tuesday to submit the names of thousands of agents and analysts. Bove previously ordered the firing of eight senior FBI officials, including those who oversaw cyber, national security and criminal investigations.

More than 5,000 names were submitted, sources said. There are more than 13,000 agents and 38,000 total FBI employees.

Ed Morrissey comments:

The mind boggles at the concept that one-seventh of the FBI workforce went into investigating a riot at the Capitol, for any period of time. Was it worthy of investigation? Absolutely. Should violent protestors have been charged and prosecuted? Absolutely. Should every seventh employee of the only federal law enforcement and counter-intelligence agency have been dedicated to that purpose? Come on, man.

Sorry this post is late. I realized I had a doctor's appointment fifteen minutes before the appointment and had to run just to get there late.

Update: Nine FBI agents are suing, arguing that they shouldn't have to obey the orders of the duly-elected president. They want to hide the names of the J6 persecution squads.

Moreover, the complaint asserts, since being pardoned by Trump, "leaders of the January 6 riot and others have tagged FBI agents who worked on the investigation and prosecutions of those rioters." The complaint notes that "Violent threats against FBI agents who have carried out lawful orders in relation to January 6th or subsequent investigations have been a consistent problem for the FBI for years."

The plaintiffs further assert (citing "credible press reports") that they anticipate a "mass, unlawful termination of Bureau employees who had any involvement in certain investigations related to President Trump, including Jan. 6 cases, and the lawful search of President Trump's residence at Mar-a-Lago." They reference a questionnaire directed to certain FBI agents regarding their work related to J6.

Ultimately, plaintiffs assert that they believe Defendants "intend to publicly disseminate the names of those employees who responded to this survey, and/or those employees who the Defendants plan to demote, transfer and/or terminate based on this survey, and/or publicly disseminate employees' responses to the survey questions outlined above."

They request that the court enter an order prohibiting the DOJ and the federal government from disseminating their personal information and rescind what they refer to as "unlawful termination orders."

Trump to End Funding for Hamas Front Group UNRWA, Pull US from UN Human Rights Council

—Ace

Every day is Christmas morning.

President Trump is set to slash U.S. funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) over its reported ties to Hamas and pull the U.S. out of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC). The executive order is expected to be signed Tuesday when Trump meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Key Details:

Trump previously halted UNRWA funding in 2018, citing concerns over its alleged support for Hamas, but Biden restored it.

The HRC has long been criticized for its anti-Israel bias, with Trump previously withdrawing the U.S. in 2018.

The move follows revelations that UNRWA employees participated in the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack against Israel.

Diving Deeper:

President Donald Trump is taking decisive action to sever U.S. support for two controversial UN entities, cutting funding for UNRWA and withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council. The expected executive order, set to be signed Tuesday, coincides with Trump's meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The decision comes in response to revelations that multiple UNRWA employees were involved in the brutal October 7 Hamas terror attack against Israel. Reports from both Israeli intelligence and international media indicated that several UNRWA staffers played direct roles in the planning and execution of the assault. Following Israeli pressure, UNRWA dismissed 10 of the 12 employees involved, while the other two were confirmed dead.

...

The UN Human Rights Council has also drawn criticism for its disproportionate scrutiny of Israel. During Trump's first term, the U.S. exited the council in protest of its anti-Israel stance.

While the Biden administration acknowledged the HRC's flaws, it argued that maintaining a presence would allow the U.S. to advocate for reforms. Then-Secretary of State Antony Blinken justified the decision to rejoin, stating, "The UN Human Rights Council is flawed and needs reform, but walking away won't fix it."

My only worry about the latter move is this -- and I don't even know the answer to this question. Does the US have some kind of veto on the Human Rights Council that we lose if we exit the corrupt group?

If we don't, then f*** 'em.

More dirt on USAID:

Trump Informs EPA That 1,000 of Its Layabouts and Make-Work Social Justice Warrior Hires May Be Dismissed "Immediately"

In case you feel sorry for any EPA employees that may be axed, don't bother. Recall that these are same arrogant and evil creeps who killed 50,000 high-paying coal industry jobs during the Obama years. Each killed coal job supported anywhere from 4-10 other community and related-industry jobs. The loss of these jobs irreparably devastated coal communities, where there is typically little else do but mine coal or support those that do. All of this was for absolutely no reason. Just left-wing politics. I was there. I saw it. I only wish I could be at EPA to hand out the pink slips and turn the lights off. @LeeZeldin @realDonaldTrump @JDVance

Trump Preparing to Dismantle the Department of Education?

—Ace

So says the WSJ. They report that Trump's team is discussing an EO to end all functions of the Department of Education except those encoded into law. That is, a lot of functions of the DoE "evolved" without express Congressional authorization, and the EO would aim to end all of those currently-tolderated-but-unauthorized functions, leaving only the parts of the DoE that Trump can't end via EO.

Breaking911
@Breaking911

BREAKING: White House prepares executive order to DISMANTLE the Dept. of Education, per WSJ.

"The officials have discussed an executive order that would shut down all functions of the agency that aren't written explicitly into statute or move certain functions to other departments. The order would call for developing a legislative proposal to abolish the department."

Happy Tuesday. Here are some gifs of women "vibing" to the news that Trump might defund the DoE.

The Morning Rant

—Misanthropic Humanitarian (ONT Cob Emeritus)

Mis Hum Rant.jpg

Back when I was a youngster CBS '60 Minutes' was an interesting television magazine show. Of course it being a CBS show there was always a left lean to it. But it was quite a relevant show. That is until 2004 during the formative years of the internet and conservative talk radio. '60 Minutes' was no longer untouchable.

The new media chewed on Mary Mapes and Dan Blather Rather and spit them out. The ploy by '60 Minutes' to derail George W. Bush presidential bid failed.

Dan Rather would soon be out of a job at CBS. George W. Bush became president. And the prestigious '60 Minutes' was no longer prestigious.

Of course over the years CBS learned nothing of value from Rathergate. '60 Minutes' thought it could derail the Bush presidential run. Wrong. Twenty years later '60 Minutes' thought it could help out the democratic presidential nominee Kamala (The San Francisco Head Hunter) Harris.

Well we all know how that blatant election interference is working out at the moment. President Trump has sued CBS. And if that isn't enough of a headache for CBS the FCC is now involved.

So if an average Citizen Joe like myself knows '60 Minutes' is irrelevant and a looming disaster why would a sitting Republican Senator sit for them? Well of course it would be Mitch McConnell, retired Minority Leader and poster child for mandatory retirement and/or term limits.

This was probably McConnell's last interview of any kind of importance. Will McConnell be remembered as a sharp Senate tactician? Yes, some will remember him as that.
He certainly won't be remembered as a budget hawk. His last interview conducted by the witch Leslie Stahl demonstrated that Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well with Mitch and CBS.

The Morning Report — 2/4/25

—J.J. Sefton

MurphyCuffMe.jpg

Good morning kids. The old adage "Nothing Succeeds Like Success" certainly applies to these first two weeks of the Trump administration. On several interconnected fronts that include foreign policy, domestic policy and the economy, at this early date, it certainly seems as if nothing can stop Trump and company as he takes a bulldozer to Leftist/Democrat and Deep State bureaucratic cancer, with the side benefit of making anyone who opposes him look ridiculous. It not only makes those of us who put him in office to do exactly what he's doing cheer even louder, which also garners him support from an even broader cross-section of the populace who not only see the benefits of what he's doing but more crucially can compare and contrast with the abject disaster of Democrat/Leftist policy. Obviously the open border insanity is the big issue illustrative of this. More on that in a moment but first . . .

Before getting to some of the juicier nuggets in the links, of which there are many, Even if it is early days, it certainly appears as though Trump senses the political winds, which feel like a category 4 storm, are at his back. While he dared sign an E.O. barely after being sworn in that erases the revolting bastardization of the 14th amendment, birthright citizenship, and ending it (or at least throwing down the gauntlet to fight for its end.

Although he had promised to do this while on the campaign trail, he's nevertheless emboldened to move ahead regardless, knowing full well the shitstorm he is going to face. I give you this orgasmatronic story to start the ball rolling!

The draft order would be a step toward fulfilling a key campaign promise President Donald Trump made to return education policy back to the states. The order would not direct the dismantling of the department, but request a plan to do so from the Education secretary, according to
The order would also call on Congress to pass legislation striking the department from federal statute. Trump may sign the order soon, according to ABC News, but no set date has been determined.

The order, if signed, would likely be carried out by Trump’s nominee to head the Department of Education, Linda McMahon. Some officials in the Trump administration are pushing for the president to hold off signing the order until after McMahon’s confirmation, according to The Wall Street Journal, presumably to avoid hindering her nomination in the Senate.

In years past, something like this was a non-starter, even if a Republican was in the White House. Aside from the fact that the number one mission of any bureaucracy is to expand its funding and power and not solve the problems it was created to address which would ultimately mean bringing about its own obsolescence. The GOP is part of the grift and has been since the New Deal. Now to shutter the EPA and Department of Energy, then we'd really be on something.

In other news, while all the usual suspects were freaking out over Trump hitting Mexico and Canada with tariffs for their malfeasance in not keeping their borders secure and allowing the millions of third world peasants and criminals to stream across, it looks as if both Trudeau and Scheinbaum have caved and cried Uncle Sam.

“Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl,” said Trudeau, who announced his intention to resign as prime minister and as leader of the Liberal Party last month. He continued in his post to declare that nearly 10,000 frontline personnel “are and will be working on protecting the border,” and announced a new commitment to “appoint a Fentanyl Czar.”

And Sheinbaum.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Monday announced she is immediately deploying 10,000 National Guard soldiers to the southern border to help mitigate the flow of drugs and illegal immigration through the U.S.-Mexico border. In exchange, the Trump administration will pause its 25% tariff on Mexican imports for one month and work to quell the flow of arms south of the border.

And Nayib Buckle the President of El Salvador will house the teeming wretched refuse that flooded onto our shores:

The president of El Salvador on Monday offered to house convicted US citizens in his country’s “mega-prison” and take in deported criminal illegal migrants of any nationality after a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Rubio, 53, said the deal struck with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele represents “the most unprecedented, extraordinary, extraordinary migratory agreement anywhere in the world,” in remarks from the capital city of San Salvador.

“We can send them and he will put them in his jails,” the secretary of state said of migrants set to be deported from the US. “And, he’s also offered to do the same for dangerous criminals currently in custody and serving their sentences in the United States even though they’re US citizens or legal residents.”

From Bukele we go to Bukakke.

President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, having been alerted to New Jersey Democrat governor Phil Murphy admitting he had an immigrant who lacked full documentation residing in his home and daring the federal government to “try and get her,” indicated he would seek to prosecute Murphy if he was knowingly harboring an illegal immigrant.

Speaking at a public event with “Blue Wave New Jersey,” Murphy bragged that New Jersey was “the lead state in challenging birthright citizenship.” Later, he said defiantly, “There is someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to and we said, ‘You know what? Let’s have her live at our house above our garage’ and good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”

. . .“I think the governor is pretty foolish … I got note of it. Won’t let it go. We’ll look into it. And if he’s knowingly, knowingly  harboring, concealing an illegal alien, that’s a violation of Title VIII, United States Code 1324. I would seek prosecution or the Secretary would seek prosecution,” Homan answered.

“So maybe he’s bluffing; maybe he’s not; we’ll deal with that,”

Here's an idea on how to deal with Murphy: conduct a 3:00AM DHS raid on his house with a CNN crew ready to film him being dragged out in his urine-stained BVDs. Then charge him with a felony, for harboring an illegal alien.

Time to pass a law in Congress declaring sanctuary jurisdictions illegal and tantamount to insurrection against the Federal government.

Elsewhere, Trump not only took a wrecking ball to the horrendous USAID which used taxpayer dollars to fund Marxists, Maoists, and other assorted America-hating bone-in-the-nose savages and tyrants as well as Islamic terroriststs who have American blood on their hands.

And speaking of which, he's cutting off the funding of UNRWA. and withdrawing us from that horrid joke of the UN Human Rights Council.

President Trump is expected to sign an executive order removing the U.S. from the UNHRC and will also call on Secretary of State Marco Rubio to examine other international groups that promote “radical or anti-American sentiment.”The executive order will also shut down funds to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which has received over $8 billion over ten years from Western nations. At least nine UNRWA staff participated in Hamas’s October 7 terror attacks in Israel in 2023, a fact later admitted by the United Nations last year.President Trump has already paused foreign aid funding, announcing a 90-day freeze just days after his inauguration. The United States spends around $60 billion per year on foreign aid projects, the most of any country globally.

And it looks like Gabbard and perhaps Bondi are on track to be confirmed. So much winning!

Have a great day.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Democrats Melt Down Now That Their $1.5 Trillion Slush Fund Has Been Put Under New Management

—Ace

Daniel Greenfield - "Hang Together or Separately" @Sultanknish

USAID spent $18.5 billion on Islamic terrorist states in the last 5 years

Including $3.7B for the Taliban

Over $2B for 'Palestinians'

$3.4B for Yemen as part of $8B for Iranian puppet regimes

$3.3B for Somalia

Was that good or bad for our national security?

Autism Capital

@AutismCapital

NEW: Senator Joni Ernst said that USAID had threatened her and her staff after she started looking into them. She was told she wasn't allowed to access their databases and that 30-40% of USAIDs money goes towards "overhead" of rent and salaries and entertainment expenses. She later found out that even that number was understated and it was actually upwards of 50-60%. @SenJoniErnstL

James O'Keefe caught a GS-14 federal "worker" -- fairly high-ranking -- openly bragging they ignore the actual elected civilian oversight and do whatever they want.

"The truth is, we don't let them [secretaries] get in our way," admits Brandon Wright, Platform Services Manager for the Department of Homeland Security (@DHSgov ), on hidden camera, to an undercover @OKeefeMedia Journalist. Drawing an analogy to a septic tank, Wright described the multi-layered bureaucracy within DHS: "There's a lot of layers, like [in] government... By the time the actual marching orders get to me and below, we can filter it in a way that steadies the ship."

"If we don't agree with those priorities," he said, noting executing orders often involves deceptively construing priorities set by political appointees to make them more practical and less disruptive, adding, "there's a lot of room for interpretation."

When discussing @KristiNoem
's role as the Trump-appointed DHS Secretary, Wright didn't mince words on his opinions over Noem's qualifications for the position. "Kristi Noem doesn't know... She doesn't know her ass," he remarked, adding, "The Department of Homeland Security could fall on her f*cking head, and she wouldn't recognize what it is."

Wright also admitted his personal dislike of her leadership style, adding, "To say that I am not excited about this would be the most epic understatement."

The Department of Homeland Security provided the following statement to O'Keefe Media Group:

"Secretary Noem has not seen the video in its entirety. This type of behavior will not be tolerated. This person has been placed on leave and is under investigation ... The senior official says the termination of the official is imminent."

The Democrats are angrily demanding that taxpayers continue paying for their grift.

Schumer: If they shut down our USAID grift, next they might shut down our IRS and "intelligence" community grifts.

Ilhan "Omar" Nur, who defrauded the US immigration system and who is not a US citizen and illegally holds her Congressional seat: Keep the USAID grift coming, USAID "saved my life."

DEFUND!

Paul A. Szypula @Bubblebathgirl

Ilhan Omar supports USAID because almost $2.3 billion of our tax dollars were wasted on Somalia. Omar swore allegiance to Somalia over America.

She said, "I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from within the US system."

This violates Omar's oath to Congress and the US.

Senator Chris Murphy: USAID funds "freedom fighters" around the world. Thanks for admitting it's a CIA front group that uses taxpayer monies to attempt coups that the public has never approved or even been apprised of.

I think Michael Shellenberger pointed out that the left has attacked USAID as a CIA front group destabilizing third-world regimes for 60 years. Now they're praising it for just that.

Marco Rubio: "I am the acting director of USAID." Damn straight, Rubio!

Charlie Kirk @charliekirk11

Secretary of State Marco Rubio just absolutely RIPPED the deep state slush fund known as USAID:

"I am the acting director of USAID."

"My frustrations with USAID goes back to my time in Congress. It's a completely unresponsive agency, it's supposed to respond to policy directives of the state department and it refuses to do so."

"Every dollar we spend will be aligned with the national interest of the United States. USAID has a history of ignoring that and deciding that they're a global charity. These are not donor dollars, these are taxpayer dollars."

Here's USAID's Chief Homosexual.

Just general gooner behavior.

Get Ready for a Shock: Masculine Manly-Man and Fiercely Proud Heterosexual Justin Trudeau Cucks Out

—Ace

trudeautakesaknee.jpg

zerohedge @zerohedge

Canada gets Mexican treatment

*TRUDEAU: NEARLY 10,000 TROOPS TO PROTECT BORDER

*TRUDEAU: DELAY IN US TARIFFS FOR 30 DAYS

Trump should demand that Trudeau take down his pants and let him f*** him up the ass on international television.

Not in a gay way, mind you. But rather -- LIKE A VIKING.

You need an enemy to really know and feel he's been defeated.

President Donald Trump on Monday agreed to pause the implementation of planned tariffs on imports from Canada for at least 30 days, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.

The pause was announced in a tweet by Trudeau hours after Trump and Mexico's president said Trump would pause for one month planned tariffs on imports from Mexico.

Trump on Saturday said he would impose 25% tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada, and 10% tariffs on goods imported from China. Trump had also planned to impose a 10% tariff on energy resources from Canada.

Trudeau in his tweet said, "I just had a good call with President Trump," and suggested that the pause on tariffs was in response to Canada's agreement to target the flow of the deadly opioid fentanyl across the border into the United States.

Trump's pause on tariffs on Mexican imports likewise came after Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum said she would immediately send 10,000 soldiers to the U.S. border to prevent drug trafficking, fentanyl in particular, from Mexico.

Trudeau said Canada had made new commitments "to appoint a Fentanyl Czar," among other measures.

"Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together," Trudeau wrote.

Trump Shuts Down the CIA/State Department/Obama Slush Fund "USAID"

—Ace

Michael Shellenberger on the Marxist funding pool:

President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and their Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are undermining democracy and national security by taking over the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), say Democrats and the media. "This is a five alarm fire," wrote Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on X. "The people elected Donald Trump to be President - not Elon Musk. Having an unelected billionaire, with his own foreign debts and motives, raiding US classified information is a grave threat to national security." ABC News described USAID as in a state of "on-going turmoil" and in "chaos." A senior USAID executive told ABC, "The warp-speed of this mafia-like takeover has shaken USAID staff to the core."

...

[A]ll Trump has done is put his people in charge of USAID, paused its grants, and shut down the organization's communications. When asked about USAID yesterday, he said, "It's been run by a bunch of radical lunatics and we're getting them out... and then we'll make a decision." If the courts were to find that Trump dissolved USAID in violation of the law, the evidence suggests that he would obey the court ruling, as he did with every order he received between 2017 and 2021. And if USAID was funding worthwhile activities, they can be re-funded in the future.

What's more, researchers have caught USAID abusing its powers, including by funding everything from censorship to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), which may have done research that resulted in the Covid pandemic. Between 2004 and 2022, USAID was the largest US government funder of EcoHealth Alliance, which sub-awarded grant funding to WIV. USAID gave EcoHealth Alliance $54 million during that period, which was more even than the $42 million the group received from the Pentagon.

Samantha Powers, the USAID Director under President Barack Obama, evaded questions about what USAID with the WIV, alleged Senator Rand Paul in 2023. "Some of the research proposals in 2018 were the Wuhan Institute of Virology asking for money to create a... SARS-like coronavirus with a furin cleavage site," said Paul. "That's exactly what COVID-19 turned out to be."

Paul accused Powers of withholding information. "We want to know if there were other research proposals you either granted or denied that were in the same vein as creating viruses that could have become COVID-19. We can't tell because you won't give us information... I now have 25 Senators that have sent you a letter, and you aren't responding... You are being dishonest."

Evidence of USAID withholding information from Congress is sufficient justification for Trump to remove the agency's leadership and pause funding. After all, USAID may be currently funding dangerous research and not informing Congress.

Shellenberger writes that USAID is the main engine of "Regime Change" abroad -- as well as Regime Change in America.

USAID has the distinction of being both a "deep state" agency, involved in covert actions aimed at destabilizing foreign governments, and one of the main US government agencies that comprise the foreign policy establishment, which many on both the Left and Right refer to as "The Blob," because it is comprised of amorphous shape-shifting and self-perpetuating imperialistic elite, like the famous gelatinous alien in the 1958 science fiction movie by the same name.

A few hours after USAID's website went dark, Nayib Bukele, the President of El Salvador, wrote on X, "Most governments don't want USAID funds flowing into their countries because they understand where much of that money actually ends up. While marketed as support for development, democracy, and human rights, the majority of these funds are funneled into opposition groups, NGOs with political agendas, and destabilizing movements. At best, maybe 10% of the money reaches real projects that help people in need (there are such cases), but the rest is used to fuel dissent, finance protests, and undermine administrations that refuse to align with the globalist agenda. Cutting this so-called aid isn't just beneficial for the United States; it's also a big win for the rest of the world."

...

USAID is among other US government organizations that have promoted regime change abroad, including the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Even "To its proponents," notes the Washington Post, "USAID is an indispensable arm of U.S. foreign policy" that spends $40 billion per year to influence politics in 130 nations.

The money is ostensibly used for things like helping refugees but, as Jacobin and Chomsky noted, that money is always highly strategic and aimed at influencing politics. It's worth considering that many of the defenders of USAID operate as ostensibly normal charities. USAID is "a national security tool kit," said Konyndyk, the president of Refugees International.

As part of US government efforts to overthrow governments abroad, or simply influence what they do, USAID has in recent years been funding censorship advocacy worldwide through its "Countering Disinformation" program, which is part of its Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS). This work has included funding for so-called "fact-checking" organizations, including in Brazil, which governments use as a predicate for demanding censorship by social media companies.

The USAID program lays out its strategy, which is to fund ostensibly "civil society" organizations to pressure social media companies like Facebook and X to censor more, and to conduct "fact-checking." USAID also promoted pressuring advertisers to demand more censorship from social media companies, notes Foundation for Freedom Online founder Mike Benz.

The agency promoted "prebunking," like the kind used by Aspen Institute to program journalists and social media companies to censor the Hunter Biden laptop, as well as "strategic silence," which is similar to what Aspen promoted to journalists in the summer of 2020 before the New York Post published its first story about the laptop. USAID has funded the Aspen Institute in the past.

...

Censorship advocate Nina Jankowicz, who was briefly the head of the Department of Homeland Security's "Disinformation Governance Board," posted a defense of USAID on the social media platform BlueSky yesterday. Shortly after, Benz noted that USAID is one of her funders.

Benz also pointed to USAID funding for a group called "Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project" (OCCRP), which investigated Rudy Giuliani, and whose work was cited in a letter written by a CIA agent, resulting in the impeachment of Donald Trump. In a documentary, OCCRP admitted that USAID must approve of its senior employees, which shows that OCCRP is not editorially independent of the US government. The US government was OCCRP's first and largest donor. And OCCRP's head says his organization's reporting resulted in regime change in five to six nations.

And, Benz noted, USAID funded the Atlantic Council, which was part of the Censorship Industrial Complex that demanded censorship of disfavored election and Covid information in 2020 and 2021.

...

And, according to a new CNN story today, USAID officials appear to have attempted to "circumvent Trump's executive order to freeze foreign aid for 90 days." The Trump administration put "Around 60 senior USAID staff... on leave last week" and "Another senior official was put on leave for trying to reverse that move." Said Musk last night, "We don't have "an apple with a worm in it. We have a ball of worms... USAID is a ball of worms."

So why did Trump and Musk take such aggressive action against USAID? Part of the reason may be that it is a funder of the Censorship Industrial Complex, which targeted Trump and his supporters and which Musk exposed through the Twitter Files. Another part of the reason is that USAID is an instrument of US empire, and voters elected Trump to pursue "America First" over global commitments.

I excerpted a lot there, so let me propose that if you liked that, you should pay the $5/month or whatever it is for his substack. It's definitely worth it.

Speaking of Stanky Janky, this is the kind of censor and psychological operations officer against the populace of the United States that USAID was funding:

Adding fuel to the firestorm as the fact that [the so-called Disinformation Governance Board]'s director, Nina Jankowicz, had repeatedly cast doubt on The Post's reporting about former first son Hunter Biden's laptop.

Then-DHS Secretary Alejandro Majorkas quietly discontinued the board weeks after it was announced, leaving Jankowicz to find other employment as the head of a nonprofit that as of April 2024 was insisting that Russia had "interfered in our democracy" during the 2016 election.

Note that the Orwellian "Disinformation Governance Board" was funded and part of the DHS, but this is the kind of censor USAID and all the illegal censorship NGOs are funding -- anti-American, anti-democracy, catspaws of the transnational transgressive "elite."

But also note that since she was forced to step down as Biden's Top Censor, she is currently funded by USAID.
