Palestinian protests at the University of California Los Angeles escalated into violence overnight Tuesday, leading to police intervention after incidents involving fireworks and brawls among protesters.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to calls from UCLA late Tuesday evening due to violent clashes involving fireworks and physical altercations among protesters.
Video evidence from the scene showed protesters using sticks and other improvised weapons, escalating tensions and leading to numerous confrontations.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass strongly condemned the violence, describing the scenes at UCLA as "abhorrent and inexcusable" in a statement posted on X.

Megyn Kelly asks: Why are all the protesters dumb and ugly? She theorizes they're engaged in this antisocial crap to prove that they're good at something, anything. They are not special in any way so they throw themselves into far-left politics, wrongly believing this is some kind of mark of prestige.
Activists always look for any opportunity to push the message and promote the cause. Marketing departments across the land - across several lands - are packed to the rafters with activists, and they never fail to create opportunities to promote their ideals. Things that have (and should have) nothing to do with politics or social movements are nonetheless shackled to them to serve as vehicles for activist ambition. From razor blades to beer to sports to underwear, wokism is ever-present.
Some of these - like Victoria's Secret - are examples of "go broke, get woke." When the business isn't in good shape, go for the wokism to make some waves. Some of them are more like Gillette or AB-InBev, where a reasonably healthy business loses its mind and goes all-in on divisive politics. The big names are big, but the same problem is literally everywhere. This ad is a few months old, but it only entered rotation on my TV set recently:
This is an ad for a bluetooth speaker made by Marshall, not that it's in any way obvious. At first, this looks like an ad for body-positivity activism (What's particularly funny is that she apparently isn't primarily a "body postivity" activist, but a "shade-inclusivity" beauty products activist.). The ad says nothing about the product. They don't tell you that it's $300. They don't tell you that it's water and dust resistant. They don't tell you that it has four speaker drivers. They don't tell you the product's name (apparently, it's "Middleton") and while they show the logo throughout, they don't bother to even say the name of the company. It leaves with you a vague impression that it's for speakers, but doesn't go out of its way to make the point.
The short-form ad (the YouTube preroll ad version) is even worse. It's just the activist woman and it truly leaves you guessing. If I didn't already know what Marshall is, I would have no clue that the ad was for a speaker. Even setting aside the distastefulness of activism-based marketing, this is a failure of an advertisement.
So-called "lifestyle" marketing is nothing new and this is actually a prime example of it. The print copy could have come from any point in the modern era:
For over 60 years, Marshall has shown that Rock 'n' roll is more than just a genre, it is a state of mind. To celebrate the launch of Middleton, we've partnered with four cultural pioneers to amplify their voices and celebrate their unique stories. Constant travelling, online noise, burnout and unwanted looks are part of their daily lives. And how they deal with it has made them who they are.
Meet Seb Murphy, Sophi St. Louis, Efron Danzig, and David Yang. Follow the story.
"Live that Rock 'n Roll lifestyle, you renegade!" Nothing new here. It's bog-standard and, bluntly, boring stuff. The commercial, though, doesn't even tie in. The ad just screams "activism," and doesn't even bother screaming it through a Marshall Stack.
15 years ago, an ad agency that pitched to executives, "let's have a frenetic visual mess that relates nothing about the product, the company or the Rock 'N Roll Rebel lifestyle, but be sure to put an activist in it at both the start and finish of the ad" would have been fired. Now, they aren't. Now, it's normal. Now you get kicked out of the room if you don't do it.
The first company to kick out the activists and reconquer the marketing department is going to get a whole lot of market differentiation for free.
Worse, they would attach the blame directly to the rotting vegetable-in-chief and his henchfiends in DC as well as wonder just what in the hell $90,000 a year gets them in terms of an education for their little darlings, sort of in the same way parents peeked in on the sexual perversion and anti-American bilge being force-fed their kids via remote learning during the lockdowns – all during an election year where Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and perhaps a large portion of the Democrat ticket face a bloodbath – Bloodbath! – at the polls this November, even with the expected out-the-wazoo election fraud.
Meanwhile, about a mile north of Columbia at CCNY, the cops cleared out that impromptu hive of scum and villainy, pulled down the shit-stained rag of a "Palestinian" flag and restored the Stars and Stripes. This gave the estimable Daniel Greenfield a warm and fuzzy feeling:
I’ve written quite a bit since 9/11 about where I expected the growing battle between America and Islamic terrorists to go, but this is still a stunning moment. There’s the NYPD reclaiming a portion of a New York City campus, lowering a terror flag and raising the American flag again. There are echoes here of the flag at Ground Zero and of the Star-Spangled Banner.
This is literally a battle for our country being fought on college campuses between the NYPD and Islamic terrorists and their Marxist allies. It’s all the more stunning in contrast to what’s going on in Los Angeles at UCLA.No one in the LAPD is talking in these terms. The LAPD is refusing to answer calls from people under attack by Hamas supporters. As bad as Mayor Eric Adams and the NYPD may be in some ways, they’re still fighting where most police forces in liberal cities have surrendered or switched sides.
We will remember moments like this in the years to come and they may well define the final outcome.
It's nice to feel optimistic, and I too always attempt to grasp at any scintilla of light when all around us is darkness. But I have to remind Greenfield and all of us that despite the iconic imagery of the firefighters hoisting an American flag over the smoldering ruins of the Twin Towers, and Dubya declaring that "those who did this will soon hear from all of us!," in the end look what happened since then? Scores of Islamic terrorist attacks here and all over the world, the rapid division of our nation into two camps accelerated and exacerbated by the arrival of Obama, and the exposure of Dubya as yet another western dupe and fraud when it came to identifying Islam as the enemy. Instead he declared we were not at war with Islam.
In fact, he allowed a flood of Muslims into the country as penance. For what? I don't know. Now take a look at places like Dearborn and Minneapolis and several other places around the nation that are rapidly turning into their own version of European "no-go zones" where sharia law rules "uber alles."
Top Biden officials have been considering relocating certain Palestinian refugees from Gaza to within the United States if they have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents, according to CBS News. Those who qualify for the United States refugee status would reportedly qualify for several benefits such as permanent residency, housing assistance and a potential avenue to American citizenship.
One of the plans reportedly being considered would enact the United States Refugee Admissions Program and bring Gaza refugees to the United States if they have “ties” to the country. If the Biden administration decides on a plan, it would require coordination with Egypt to execute such matters, CBS News reported.
In the United States, in order to qualify as a refugee, an individual must be able to prove that they are seeking to flee based on persecution of nationality, religion or political views, CBS News reported.
Perfect! Mollify the base by both bringing in another tidal wave of sponges and leeches dependent on Uncle Sugar, eager to help in the destruction of whatever's left of our culture, and further the meme of Israel as an oppressor nation. Yup. Perfect. As in a perfect nightmare.
Although the NYPD was finally allowed to do its job at Columbia University, it would be a mistake to believe the disgraceful episode is over. After all, the pro-Hamas stooges, the complicit faculty and the quisling administrators are still jockeying for power. With graduation still two weeks away, it’s too early to declare a winner.
Start with the radical students. They set up a camp in the middle of the famous quad and day-after-day chanted slogans that revealed an allegiance to terrorists. They harassed Jewish students and their commitment to the elimination of Israel marks the resurgence of an ancient hatred in a city that has long been a safe haven for Jews. What are the students reading in their fetid tents — “Mein Kampf”?
. . . The insufferable rebels without a legitimate cause believed they should suffer no consequences for violating college rules and the rights of their fellow students, and for actively supporting the eradication of the Jewish state. Think about that. They are calling for genocide, making them guilty of the very thing they accuse Israel of committing, while depriving others of their right to an education and a sense of physical safety.
Yet they don’t think they’ve done anything wrong! Such a stunning combination of ignorance and arrogance is more than enough justification to give them the boot. And don’t forget the members of the faculty who helped incite this disaster. The indoctrination of students in a mud-bath of hatred against Israel has been a fixture at Columbia for decades, and supposed scholars added to their complicity by surrounding the tent camp as if to protect it from police. They were happy to preen for the cameras, so the self-incriminating evidence against them is overwhelming, too. Tenured radicals indeed. . .
. . . Although the agitators’ claim that they are entitled to escape any consequences reflects a national culture that extends well beyond the college gates, that can’t be an excuse for Columbia to duck its duty. Quite the contrary. The necessity to impose tough penalties makes this what the left calls a teachable moment.
The lesson must be that misconduct comes with a price. The more serious the misconduct, the heavier the price.
All very true, but Goodwin only hints at the real root cause of the problem. Corruption of our entire society that began with the Democrats 200-plus year will to power and the "progressives" who glommed onto them – all supercharged by the hijacking of academia that started over 80 years ago with the likes of the Frankfurt School refugees, Horace Mann, John Dewey and others who took Lenin's words to heart:
"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."
Well, they've had a lot more than four as you can see by our house divided, on fire, and collapsing in all around us.
The only way forward is the complete eradication and full on purge of every professor, teacher and administrator that teaches this crap to our kids, the First Amendment be damned. And then we can try to deprogram and denazify three generations of pod people posing as American citizens and prevent subsequent generations from their fate, and doing us in once and for all. Inshalla, right?
Dennis Prager: "Some leading figures on the Right are as confused as the Left on some of the most important moral issues. This was made manifest last week when Tucker Carlson told Joe Rogan that any person who defends the dropping of the atomic bombs over Japan is evil. . . It is a function of a broken moral compass." Some on the Right Are Having a Moral Meltdown

On Intel CPUs, PL1 is the long-term power level; PL2 is the short burst power level.
On a high-end chip rated at 125W, PL2 is something like 253W. On the top of the line 14900KS, it is increased to 320W officially, and 400W or more unofficially.
This produces great benchmark results but unfortunately fries the chips.
Of course, if you throttle the chips back to the official official power limits, all the existing benchmark results become fairy tales.
So if you're looking for a high-end CPU right now, go AMD.
If you're looking at a mid-range CPU like Intel's i5-14500, none of this is likely to matter. It's a good chip.

Several hundred NYPD cops stormed onto Columbia University's campus on Tuesday night to oust a pro-terror mob that illegally took over an academic building amid ongoing anti-Israel protests on campus.
The cops cleared out the group that barged into Hamilton Hall early Tuesday morning in a drastic escalation of the protest at the Ivy League school, according to police sources.
Dozens of Emergency Service Unit officers entered the Morningside Heights campus at 9:13 p.m., but were blocked from entering the barricaded building through the front door.
Several protesters appeared unbothered as they stood in the doorway with only a glass pane between them and the officers -- as their comrades on the streets shouted "Pigs!"
That's when the NYPD ordered its Mobile Adjustable Ramp System (MARS) to the second-floor window, sending in a flood of riot-gear clad cops carrying zip-tie handcuffs.
Within just 20 minutes, the cops made multiple arrests. The protesters -- many of whom covered their faces with surgical masks or keffiyehs -- were walked out of Hamilton Hall and loaded onto three NYPD buses.
Multiple demonstrators continued screaming anti-Israel sentiments, while at least one was seen crying.
The officers also stationed themselves in front of off-campus housing and were greeted with hostile shouts of "NYPD, KKK, IOF! They're all the same!"

"We will enter Rafah and we don't care about the court in The Hague, the court is anti-Semitic"
"We will enter Rafah because we have no other choice. We will destroy the Hamas battalions there, we will complete all the objectives of the war, including the return of all our abductees.
There are many forces trying to prevent us from doing this. Recently they were joined by another force - the International Criminal Court in The Hague. This court has no authority over the State of Israel. The possibility that he will issue arrest warrants for war crimes against IDF commanders and state leaders, this possibility is a scandal on a historical scale.
This will be the first time that a democratic country, which is fighting for its life according to all the rules of international law, is accused of war crimes. If this thing does happen, it will be an indelible stain on all of humanity. It would be an unprecedented anti-Semitic hate crime, a crime that would add fuel to the anti-Semitic incitement that is already raging in the world.
I want to make one thing clear: no decision, neither in The Hague nor anywhere else, will harm our determination to achieve all the goals of the war - the release of all our hostages, a complete victory over Hamas and a promise that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel, as well as to restore security and the residents to the north.
That's not what they claim in their political asylum hearings. In those hearings, they claim they're being "politically repressed." Are you saying they're all lying, AOC?
Five West Virginia middle schoolers who protested a transgender athlete's participation in a track and field competition have been barred from future meets -- prompting the state attorney general to ask the US Supreme Court to weigh in on transgender student-athlete bans for a second time.
West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey filed a lawsuit against the Harrison County Board of Education on the dissenting students' behalf after they were blocked from upcoming meets following their protests at the April 18 shot put competition, West Virginia Watch reported.
Five girls from Lincoln Middle School stepped up to the circle for their turn before refusing to throw in the event, which was won by Becky Pepper-Jackson, a 13-year-old girl who takes puberty-blocking medication and estrogen hormone therapy.
While West Virginia law bans transgender girls from playing on girls' sports teams, a recent federal appeals court ruled that the law couldn't lawfully be applied to the eighth-grader.
Judge Toby Heytens wrote that offering her a "choice" between not participating in sports and participating only on boys' teams "is no real choice at all."
Yes, they do have that choice. You know who doesn't have a choice? The girls you are forcing to play in boys' leagues.
Despite the ruling, Morrisey has rallied against both the ruling and the treatment of the student-athletes who protested competing against Becky.
"Their actions at the earlier track meet were not disruptive or aggrandizing. They were the quiet demonstration of the student-athletes' evident unhappiness with the competitive consequences of a federal appellate court's decision," Morrisey, a Republican currently primarying for governor, wrote in the amicus brief filed April 26.
Joined by one of Becky's classmates on Wednesday, Morrisey said he plans to ask the US Supreme Court to hear the case involving the state's restrictions on transgender student-athletes for a second time.
Last year, the Kansas state legislature passed a sweeping ban on transgender medical procedures for minors, including hormones, puberty blockers, and genital mutilation surgery. Other restrictions were included involving both schools and medical facilities. Democratic Governor Laura Kelly vetoed the bill as expected and the state GOP got to work preparing to override her veto. But yesterday, a surprising twist in the story turned up. The lawmakers voted overwhelmingly in favor of overriding the veto, but not quite overwhelmingly enough. They fell two votes short of the required two-thirds majority, so the bill has effectively been killed off, at least for now.
Donald Trump wants states to track your menstrual cycle, and Republicans think that ISN'T a violation of your rights.
They don't want states to track your gun purchases, because they think that IS a violation of your rights.
Guns have more of a right to privacy than women.

Columbia backed down from its bluff that it would suspend students who did not decolonize its campus grounds. So the "students" escalated and stole more Aboriginal Columbia Lands.

A trans advocate is unable to name a single journal or study which establishes that transitioning kids is safe and effective. She keeps citing "standards of care." This is tautological: evidence and studies are supposed to inform standards of care. She's claiming that the standards of care prove the safety and efficacy of the standards of care. And she keeps saying it over and over.

Fox News Reports on the Soros Network Paying Protesters at Palestinian Tent Cities; Rep. Comer Vows Congress Will "Follow the Money" and Expose the Dark Money Networks
This is why the media no longer writes stories hysterically decrying how "dark money" is subverting our politics -- they approve of how dark money is subverting our politics, now that they're the main subverters.
It sounds like an organization from a James Bond film, like SPECTRE or SMERSH. Unlike Ian Fleming's creations, Arabella Advisors actually exists, and it also seeks to remake America in a Marxist image, according to a new book by Scott Walter. "ARABELLA: The Dark Money Network of Leftist Billionaires Secretly Transforming America" reveals how America's wealthiest progressives use dark-money networking to fundamentally transform American politics.
If you haven't heard of Arabella Advisors, don't be surprised. Most media outlets have ignored it and its implications for political manipulation by the One Percenters over which progressives love to hyperventilate. Just in the 2020 election cycle alone, Arabella controlled $2.4 billion in dark money -- more than the RNC and DNC raised combined.
How did it use all those funds? I spoke to author Scott Walter a few days ago about how all that money has manipulated the media and electoral politics. You don't hear about Arabella itself, Walter tells me, because that would draw attention to the billionaire elites funding it: Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Pierre Omidyar, and more. It operates through "storefronts" on each of the many issues it seeks to influence, with names that sound far more benign than their purpose.
Walter, a veteran of Washington, DC, policy and philanthropy circles, explained how the book lays out Arabella's reach as well as its ambitions. In the lightly edited partial transcript below, Walter explains who Arabella is, and gives us a taste of how it operates through these "storefront" operations. We also talk about Walter's website Influence Watch, and how it can be a valuable tool to see who's behind some of the left's campaigns.
====
Q: How much did Arabella spend in the 2020 presidential cycle?
A: Well, the nonprofits took in during the 2020 cycle, so that's two years, $2.4 billion. And in case you're wondering for reference, that is more than the DNC plus the RNC and then add a billion, okay? Now in 2022, you would think that's an off year, right? So they have to maybe come down a little bit. Wrong. $3 billion for the 22 cycle. That's more than the DNC, the RNC, the Republican Senate and House Committee, the Democrat Senate and House Committee. Roll all those together, you still gotta add half a billion to get to Arabella's revenues.
More at the link.
Of course all of these protests are being organized and funded by dark money groups on the far left. Even leftwing NYC mayor Eric Adams pointed out how all of these "spontaneous protests" were exactly alike in terms of talking points and tactics. Why are all the tents the same?
"Why is everybody's tent the same?" Mayor Eric Adams asked at a press conference Tuesday. "Was there a fire sale on those tents? There's some organizing going on. There's a well-concerted organizing effort and what's the goal of that organizing? That's what we need to be asking ourselves."
Adams said Kaz Daughtry, a deputy police commissioner, "made a good point" in an interview with Fox when Daughtry said, "If you look at the tents, where did they all get them from? The same place, the same person? Somebody is behind this, and we're gonna find out who it is."
Progressive anti-Israel agitators across the country, including those who mobilized at New York City's Columbia University, are associated with groups tied to far-left groups with radical associations backed by dark money and liberal mega-donor George Soros.
National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP), a national organization affiliated with around 200 independent chapters, has had a vocal presence at Columbia University in recent days and at one point said it had walked away from talks with school leaders until administrators pledge not to have them arrested or forcefully removed from their encampment on the Ivy League institution's West Lawn.
NSJP operates under Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation (WESPAC), a fiscal sponsor, whom Fox News Digital previously reported received a six-figure donation from a nonprofit bankrolled by the George Soros network. WESPAC, whose funding is largely unknown, has espoused anti-israel rhetoric for years, including accusing the government of "apartheid," "ethnic cleansing," "collective punishment" and "war crimes," according to NGO Monitor.
NSJP regularly compares Israel's treatment of Palestinians to Nazi Germany and the Jim Crow era in the United States, accuses Israel of genocide, and has routinely promoted Hamas propaganda since the October 7 attack, Influence Watch reported.
"Since October 7th, SJP has been extremely aggressive on far too many campuses in threatening ways, including the use of violent, genocidal rally calls which include 'from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,' 'Globalize the Intifada,' and 'there is only one solution, Intifada revolution,'" StandWithUs CEO Roz Rothstein told Fox News Digital about the group last year after it was suspended by Rutgers University for anti-Israel provocations.
"It is therefore no surprise that increasing numbers of universities are making the decision to suspend a student group that combines violent rhetoric with violations of university policies, threatening Jewish students on campus."
The big two, William LaJeunesse reports, are George Soros and the vile Rockefeller brothers. But there are many other leftwing dark money groups involved in the shadowy funding.
And students are forced to contribute to these groups via mandatory "student fees."
Copycat tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia -- all of them organized by branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) -- and at some, students have clashed with police.
The SJP parent organization has been funded by a network of nonprofits ultimately funded by, among others, Soros, the billionaire left-wing investor.
At three colleges, the protests are being encouraged by paid radicals who are "fellows" of a Soros-funded group called the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR).
USCPR provides up to $7,800 for its community-based fellows and between $2,880 and $3,660 for its campus-based "fellows" in return for spending eight hours a week organizing "campaigns led by Palestinian organizations."
They are trained to "rise up, to revolution."
The radical group received at least $300,000 from Soros' Open Society Foundations since 2017 and also took in $355,000 from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund since 2019.

When host David Remnick asked him about mixing serious themes with comedy he couldn't hold back.
"People always need [comedy] ... they need it so badly and they don't get it," Seinfeld began. "It used to be you'd go home at the end of the day, 'oh, 'Cheers' is on. Oh, 'M*A*S*H*' is on. Oh, 'Mary Tyler Moore' is on. 'All in the Family' is on.' You just expected there will be some funny stuff on TV you can watch tonight.
"But guess what? Where is it? Where is it? This is the result of the extreme Left and PC crap and people worrying so much about offending other people."
...
Seinfeld shared where comedy continues to thrive in our P.C. world.
"Now, they're going to see stand-up comics because we are not policed by anyone ... the audience polices us. We know when we're off track and we know instantly and we adjust to it instantly. But when you write a script ... and it goes into four or five different hands, committees, 'here's our thoughts about your jokes,' then that's the end of your comedy."
"Isn't that what ['Curb Your Enthusiasm'] was all about?" Remnick asked of the just-wrapped series created by "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David. The show routinely broached challenging topics without fear of reprisal.
"Larry was grandfathered in. He's old enough, 'I don't have to observe those rules because I started before you made those rules,'" Seinfeld said, taking on David's voice to make a point.
Seinfeld brought up a classic moment from his self-titled show to bolster his argument against "P.C. crap."
"We did an episode of the series in the '90s where Kramer decides to start a business where homeless pull rickshaws because, as he says, 'they're outside anyway.'" the comedian said. "Do you think I could get that episode on the air today?"
It was a rhetorical statement, and the podcast host treated it as such.
Seinfeld returned to "Curb" to hammer home his point.
"If Larry was 35 he couldn't get away with the watermelon stuff of Palestinian Chicken," he said before adding his "Seinfeld" writing team would pen a different scenario for Kramer in that aforementioned episode.
...
Remnick asked if the woke mindset, which Seinfeld referenced but didn't name check as such, was showing signs of weakness of late.
"Slightly. I see a slight movement... with certain comedians now people are having fun with them stepping over the line and us all laughing about it. Again, it's the stand-ups who are able to do it. No one else gets the blame if it doesn't go down well," he said.
Toto notes that the left immediately began a counter-offensive calling Seinfeld "old," "white" (what a giveaway, eh?), "cranky," and my favorite: "unfunny."
Seinfeld. Not funny.
Sure. Sure.
Other idiots attacked Seinfeld claiming his stand-up act is famously mild and inoffensive, so what does he have to complain about?
1, one person whose speech is not being censored may still object, on principle, to someone being censored for his speech.
2, Seinfeld's stand-up may be famously wholesome, but the TV show that made him a half billion dollars (I'm guestimating) was famously boundary-pushing and edgy.
Idiots.
Below, Adam Carolla plays a clip from the interview.
And then he drops a bomb: five years ago, when he and Seinfeld were at the same event, Seinfeld made a "beeline" over to him to tell him how much he liked what Carolla was doing.
Since Carolla was mostly knocking the left, Carolla takes this to mean that Seinfeld is a -- gasp -- Republican.
He points out the obvious, that if there's any celebrity whose politics you don't know because the celebrity doesn't announce his political affiliation, guess what, you do know his politics, it's the politics you're not allowed to talk about.
This would surprise me because Seinfeld is great friends with that idiot propagandist George Stephanopolous and, as Carolla notes, Larry David is also a huge lefty.
Eh, I'm not convinced. I think Seinfeld might just think Carolla is funny. He certainly appreciates Carolla's pushback against woke crap, but that doesn't make Seinfeld a Republican. A lot of old liberals are pissed at the woke crap, too.
Time to bust out the Seinfeld DVDs. I think I'll re-watch season 3. I really prefer the later seasons but season 3 will be halfway new to me, because I don't watch it much.

After five days of anti-Israel demonstrators occupying Deering Meadow on Northwestern University's campus, Northwestern president Michael Schill and the rest of the university's leadership decided to accede to several of the protesters' demands.
While not committing to divesting its endowment from companies that do business in Israel and ending partnerships with Israeli institutions, the university released a list of concessions in a celebratory statement Monday afternoon in exchange for the removal of the encampment on the lawn.
Most notable among those concessions is a promise to offer full-ride scholarships to Palestinian students and guaranteed faculty jobs for Palestinian academics.
"The University will support visiting Palestinian faculty and students at risk (funding two faculty per year for two years; and providing full cost of attendance for five Palestinian undergraduates to attend Northwestern for the duration of their undergraduate careers)," the document reads. "The University commits to fundraise to sustain this program beyond this current commitment.
The university will also issue a statement telling employers not to "discriminate" against the pro-terrorism "scholars" involved in these campus takeovers.
NEW: Columbia protester tells Fox News reporter to get out of her face after he asks multiple questions including why they held three janitors hostage.
Reporter: “Do you feel like it was right to hold 3 of the janitor workers hostage inside of the building?”
At Yale, "demonstration marshals" have announced that only people who support Palestinian terrorism are allowed in the "liberated zone." They are attacking any journalists who attempt to report on them or photography them.
The encampment, which protesters called a "liberated zone," was erected at 3:30 p.m., with protesters blocking off the western and eastern ends of Cross Campus while others set up tents on the lawn. According to Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell, this violated University policies regarding the use of outdoor spaces, postering and chalking, the use of amplified sound and the recently created policy on the placement of structures on campus spaces.
Organizers announced a set of community guidelines that all individuals within the zone must follow, including "being committed to Palestinian liberation and fighting for freedom for all oppressed people," as well as a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination in the space.
No discrimination, except that no one is allowed to step on to the seized land unless they swear allegiance to the terrorists:
Throughout the day, marshals at designated entrances to the encampment asked pedestrians if they agreed to the community guidelines before allowing them to pass through Cross Campus. Pedestrians who did not agree to the guidelines were turned away.
OnlyFans Creator: I Was Paid to Spread Full-On Political Propaganda for Biden (and His DEI Supreme Court Pick Ketanji Jackson-Brown), and Also Told to Lie About the Fact That I Was Being Paid to Spread This Propaganda
I think there's an actual FCC ruling requiring internet creators to divulge whether they're being paid to promote something. But the Biden propagandists told her Biden wasn't a "product" so she should hide the fact that she was being paid to advertise for Biden.
An OnlyFans creator and TikTok star has claimed she was paid to spread "political propaganda" for the Biden administration on social media -- and that she was asked to hide the fact it was advertising.
Farha Khalidi said she'd been asked to help boast about then-Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to her tens of thousands of social media followers after Brown Jackson was nominated to the Supreme Court by President Biden.
"I was doing full-on political propaganda," the social media personality said during a recent podcast interview with commentator Richard Hanania.
"The funny thing is they're, like, 'Do not disclose this as an ad' because they [were], like, 'Technically, it's not a product, so you don't have to disclose it's an ad.' Because I think they just wanted, like, some edgy girl of color to just tell people -- like when they nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson, they're, like, 'Can you say "as a person of color," you know, that you feel "reflected"?'"
Do you guys feel "reflected" by the Representation on this website?
When probed about the Biden admin, Khalidi, who boasts more than 119,000 Instagram followers, clarified that she was dealing with a "conduit" third-party media company at the time.
"It's not Biden, but it's, like, a third party. You know what I mean? It's, like, a media company that's doing it on his behalf. I'm not blaming him for this," Khalidi said.
She went on to say that she ultimately pushed back against the "script" because it was a white woman from the media company telling her what to say.
Corrupt Judge Fines Trump $9,000 For Criticizing the Prosecution and Its Witnesses, Threatens Jail Time If Trump Exercises His Free Speech Rights as the Leading Candidate for the Presidency Again
—Disinformation Expert Ace
(Whoops, sorry -- I thought I published this forty minutes ago!)
Bear in mind, George Stephanopolous was just the tip of the spear in a new information operation, to sell the American people on the idea that if a presidential candidate is merely accused of a criminal conduct, it's a Constitutional Crisis and no one is allowed to vote for him.
So that is the political narrative that Trump needs to combat if he's to have a chance at winning.
Judge Merchan holds Trump in contempt, levies $9,000 fine and threatens "incarceratory sentence"
Judge Juan Merchan, overseeing the criminal trial of former President Donald J. Trump, has held the former president in contempt of court for violating a gag order, levying a $9,000 fine as a result and threatening Trump with an "incarceratory sentence" should the gag order be violated again.
Judge Merchan fined Trump $9,000 for violating the gag order that prohibits him from attacking witnesses, jurors, and others involved in the case.
The gag order placed on the former president is not placed on key witnesses in the case, including convicted perjurer Michael Cohen, who has taken to TikTok to trash Trump in cash-grab livestreams.
If convicted, Trump could face probation or up to four years in prison.
The trial of Donald J. Trump, the first former president to face criminal prosecution, has entered its third week. Judge Juan Merchan has fined Trump $9,000 for repeatedly violating a gag order that bars him from making attacks on witnesses, jurors, and others connected to the case. The judge issued his ruling as the trial began its third week, stating that Trump's statements, including those on social media, had violated the order.
Update: Trump blasts the gag order and says the whole case is a "hoax."
Columbia Takes No Action Against Terrorists; Surprisingly, Terrorists Are Emboldened and Seize More Land

There is nothing remotely troubling about corporations raising money on the debt markets. It's smart financial planning in many cases, doesn't dilute the stock price like issuing more shares, and with a steady revenue stream the cost of the money raised is easily managed. And it benefits the economy by providing a reasonable return that is quite safe. Who wouldn't trust Boeing to keep building and selling great planes?
Except when a corporation HAS to raise money on the debt markets because they are running out of cash, because their products suck and the airline industry is becoming suspicious of the conspicuous lack of quality control in their design and production.
Boeing on Monday tapped debt markets to raise $10 billion, after the U.S. planemaker burned $3.93 billion in free cash during the first quarter following slowing production of its best-selling jet, sources familiar with the matter said.
Boeing's credit rating hovered above "junk" status last week from rating agencies as the planemaker tries to recover from a crisis that began in January after a midair blowout of a cabin panel door plug on a nearly new 737 MAX 9.
Investors and analysts have said Boeing could tap bond markets to get ahead of more than $12 billion in combined debt coming due in 2025 and 2026.
Actually, the crisis began a long time ago. The software design of the new 737 was poorly done, and even before that, the direction of the company had radically shifted away from the technological and engineering prowess that was in its corporate culture, toward a profit-driven, and DEI-dominated culture. Even worse they began to worship at the alter of the Sustainable Organic Church of The Carbon Apocalypse.* They even include DEI in their "Sustainability" programs!
Boeing has lost its way, just like many American corporations that value a progressive, Woke, "Just" culture over the old cultures of competence and great products that drove American manufacturing for 100 years. Every time Boeing hires a software engineer because of his/her/its skin color or sexuality, it degrades its brand and endangers its customers. Every time Boeing pushes its engineers to focus on projects that maximize the illusion of carbon-neutral travel, it injures its stockholders and employees by foregoing advances in the reality-based transportation field. Every time it cuts engineering and production budgets and increases lobbying and advertising and DEI and financial auditing budgets, it starves its core competency and feeds the very thing that is destroying a 108 year old company.

Good morning, kids. Back in the spring of 1978, during my freshman year at Brooklyn College, a couple dozen black and Puerto Rican students led by one "professor" Richie Perez stormed Whitehead Hall, kicked out teachers and students from their classrooms, and barricaded themselves inside. IIRC, It was ostensibly to protest cuts in the budget of black and Puerto Rican studies departments and demand not only restoration but an increase in funding. Then-chancellor John Kneller gave them exactly one hour to exit the building. Or else.
Perez and his gang of braindead stooges, responded with a rather catchy little ditty blasted out from a bullhorn, no doubt bequeathed to Al Sharpton – "Kneller, you liar! We'll set your ass on fire! The hour came and went, and wouldn't you know it? Bang on the tick, the tactical cops from the 63rd Precinct charged in and handed out hickory shampoos con gusto to everyone inside. And everyone who had been forced out, inconvenienced and pissed off cheered on the boys in blue and mocked the bruised and bleeding bastards.
Those were the days, my friend. People like me who were kids during the hippie era of the 60s were mostly done with it by the middle of the next decade as we grew into our teenage years. The crap that Perez et al tried to pull was simply not tolerated. Unfortunately, the fact that there was even a Black and Puerto Rican Studies Department at all was a foreshadowing of what we are seeing today at Columbia and universities across the country.
[Kristen] Clarke, the head of the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice, will speak at the law school's graduation ceremony on May 13, at a time when Columbia is accused of violating the civil rights of Jewish students.
Her address comes as Columbia moved classes online for the rest of the semester after a string of anti-Semitic incidents at the university. Anti-Israel protesters on campus have called for killing supporters of the Jewish state, assaulted Jewish students, burned Israeli flags, and chanted at Jews to "go back to Poland."
. . . Clarke was at the center of another anti-Semitism controversy during her confirmation process in 2021, when news emerged that she had invited the author of The Jewish Onslaught, an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory book, to speak at Harvard University in 1994. The book accused Jews of orchestrating the slave trade and of colluding to suppress black progress.
Clarke, who served as head of Harvard's Black Students Association in the 1990s, defended the invitation at the time of the event, calling the book's author, Tony Martin, an "intelligent, well-versed Black intellectual who bases his information on indisputable fact."
Years later, during her confirmation hearings, she apologized for the invitation and said it was a "mistake to accept [Martin's] offer to come and to defend him."
. . . [So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden has walked a careful line between condemning the anti-Semitism at Columbia and appeasing anti-Israel progressives in his voting base.
I saw Tony Martin and my mind went to Cyd Charisse. But I digress. In any case Kristen Clarke is among the most horrid bigots imaginable; and that makes her absolutely perfect to head up the DOJ's Civil Rights Division. The bullet points from her complete Discover the Networks dossier:
*Wrote that melanin makes blacks racially superior to whites
* Worked for the Department of Justice, the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Civil Rights Bureau of New York State
* Demanded that the Boy Scouts permit the hiring of openly gay adults
* Became president of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in 2016
* Alleged that “trans women of color” are being victimized by increased violence
* Supports affirmative action in order to increase “diversity”
* Pressured social media companies to censor “hate speech” by “white supremacists”
* Embraces Critical Race Theory and the “Defund the Police” movement
* Supports teaching children that whites are oppressors * Compared Trump supporters to Klansmen
* Became Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights in May 2021
She has direct links to the twin towers of divide and conquer, Barack Obama and Eric Holder. Like the latter two, Clarke is not a one off. Our entire government is infested with hordes of Clarkes in every bureau of every department of every agency. Bad as the situation is, it didn't just happen when Obama took office.
This infestation is the result of decades of corruption in and now outside of government. In the old days, it was mere corruption and venality, but over the past several decades that has been coupled with Marxist ideology and the results are in your face.
The left’s latest cause célèbre is opposing the Israeli counterterrorism operation in Gaza. A lot of Israel’s supporters have been aghast at the size and scale of these protests, openly wondering why the students are spending so much time protesting at all and, after years of championing free speech, are calling for censorship to stop anti-Semitism. . .
. . . I will state as a preliminary matter that there is a difference between protest and targeted harassment and that the latter should not be protected as free speech. That said, our foreign policy towards Israel should be subject to debate and accepted as a target of protest as much as anything else. Suggestions that such views are beyond the pale and warrant expulsion simply because they are unpopular are impossible to square with the First Amendment and more general American principles of free speech.
There have been many overwrought and dishonest criticisms of recent campus protests, but they do not appear more violent or more sinister than other protests of recent years. They mostly seem to be peaceful sit-ins. While violence and threats of violence have no place on campus, part of academic freedom and the college experience involves encountering ideas one disagrees with. Like most protests, these assemblies consist of a majority that is law-abiding and engaging in free speech and a much smaller minority of angry, anti-social agitators. And this division is evident everywhere you look. . .
. . . The heavy-handed efforts to crush these protests will almost certainly boomerang. Arrests and police actions will enhance protesters’ sense of being part of a significant and potentially dangerous cause and also increase their credit among the anti-establishment left.
While there have certainly been excesses and obnoxious behavior in the recent wave of protests, this seems to be par for the course, mild even. Unfortunately, most of the Gaza protests critics conflate peaceful protests with anti-social harassment, have been short on facts and long on emotion in their allegations, and deliberately ignore the presence of a substantial Jewish contingent among the anti-Israel protesters. Dropping the hammer on protesters for mere misdemeanors—like the Draconian sanctions imposed on the January 6 protesters—will encourage sympathy and discredit the authorities. . .
. . . If Israel and its policies are so great, they should be able to win the battle of public opinion with facts, logic, and protests of their own. In many respects, they have. Americans are mostly pro-Israel. But life is not always black and white. Some of Israel’s supporters, as well as many Israelis, also object to the scale of destruction in Gaza and the military operation’s apparent inability to provide long-term security.
A moral panic over ordinary expressions of political disagreement, controversial views, and uncouth language is not the way. Such a policy would be inimical to free speech, based on a distorted record, and will only give the activists of the progressive left the validation they are seeking. University and government policy should be built on the solid, content-neutral ground of distinguishing permissible free speech from prohibited criminal violence and harassment.
The fact that someone so erudite and usually right on the money can be so clueless as to what is happening on campus and on the ground in Israel itself is just fucking ponderous.
"Win the battle of public opinion with facts, logic and protests of their own?" RUFKM, Chris? You seem to think that we live in an imaginary world where all those things are still operative. To say the least, we live in a world of lies, deception and naked oppression of anyone who dares expose it.
How can you call for the defense and preservation of the First Amendment when it not only doesn't function, but when much of the other Amendments are on the ropes if not de facto dead? Did the stolen election of 2020, the imprisonment of political prisoners for using that First Amendment they foolishly thought protected them, and the in your face persecution of Donald Trump not tell you anything? Evidently not.
Free speech does not exist anymore because the civil society it was part and parcel of, to greater or lesser extents since 1789 is either dead or about to flatline. Wanting to preserve the 1-A is sort of like trying to set the broken arm of someone in the final throes of total organ failure.
It's not that we have to destroy the Constitution to save it. It's already destroyed. We now have to create a society that respects and reveres individual liberty and the rights of those with whom they disagree while at the same time protecting us from those who do not. Meh. We have imported alien, violent, dark age cultures that work hand in hand with our own native born tyrants to drag us back to an even darker age. Forever. They must be vanquished and excised from our midst.
If that means ditching the original Constitution to do so, then God help me, so be it. The left is fond of spouting that the Constitution is not a suicide pact. Well, it's high time we take that attitude.

Once upon a time I purchased a particular breed of dog to be used for hunting. I did my research and I bought a puppy from a respected breeder. Of course the Murphy's have nothing over my surname. I took this wild and belligerent dog to a nationally known trainer for a month. After two weeks I received a call telling me I should come pick up my dog and that I probably should put it down.
At that time, there were not an abundance of "Rescue" facilities. And I certainly just couldn't euthanize this hound from hell. She wasn't mean or vicious. She just ran and ran and ran when off leash or outside a fenced yard. I won't get into thunder storms or fireworks.
