Tuesday Morning Rant (11/12/24)

People of our age, *29, had parents, relatives and a school system that taught right from wrong, there were consequences for misdeeds and the "Golden Rule". Quite simply you treat another human being the same way you want to be treated. You are no better than the man at the diner cafe counter, the waitress serving that diner, the kid busing tables, the dishwasher or the owner who is slinging hash.

What was once slow trickles of arrogance, condescension and projection have now merged to become a dangerous raging river ready to wipe out the USA.

The trickles have been gaining speed since the 2010. That year Scott Walker was elected governor of the State of Wisconsin. When the GOP captured the assembly, senate and the governorship and implemented cost saving measures. The senate democrats fled the state to Illinois so there wasn't a quorum to vote. Yes, very mature. Protesters stormed the Wisconsin Capital in Madison. Quite frankly, I wish it had burned to the ground along with the protesters. Then liberal amounts of Kosher salt spread throughout the ashes.

We have an official cabinet department responsible for dealing with the entire world, both good and bad. And this is how they react because they didn't get their way. Do you really want these mentally ill adolescents in charge of anything other than a coffee maker or a mop?

I voted for Ronald Reagan twice. I voted for Bush The Elder Twice. Imagine how I felt the day after Slick Willie beat Bush. I got up, drove to my job. Did my job, drove home. And spent the evening with the Fabulous, our daughters and pooches. There was no sobbing, no Emotional Therapy Dogs. No crayons. Just living the life I had at the time being the best husband, father and employee I could be. I've always been political but by God I'm not going to let it run my life. There were recitals to attend. Basketball games to watch. Fish fries to be consumed with friends.

I didn't hate my fellow American for not voting the way I wanted them to. Never threatened to quit because the people I served were lower than I. Because we differ didn't make me better.

But what galls me the most is the pure "Holier than thou" attitude these 'Thought leaders and educators' display in public let alone the faculty lounge. I am not a gynecologist. But, I know a k@n+ when I see one. Can you imagine walking up to a clerk and mock them to their face about their opinion concerning the presidential election? Well if you can't imagine doing that. Let me introduce you to someone who would.

I'm guessing Arlene Karen is single since her cats didn't go out and purchase that bottle of Trader Joe's Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine. Nothing like drinking alone with a herd of felines right Arlene? Did the tears of defeat and rejection stain your stylish yet unattractive clothing?

Doing a little research on the Hag of The Year she doesn't tell us where she indoctrinated her students at. Have no idea where she earned any degrees. Couldn't find her prediction that Donald J. Trump would win in 2016 either. She's remarkably delusional in her self-importance.

So what do we do about these arrogant, condescending, Golden Rule breakers? Should we research them thoroughly? Follow them to the gym? Serenade their homes at 3AM or Bother the hell out of them while they eat?

Bud Light saw that boycotting can cause financial harm. It's time to fight back, we no longer should turn the other cheek while asking for another. As the lead link stated:

I say we walk softly, say what we mean and carry a big stick and use it when necessary.

As Buck Throckmorton and Ace covered the following story nicely. I didn't get into the hateful, racist, acts of Marn'i Washington. She should be hassled until the day she is sentenced to Federal Prison.
