First Night of Democrat (Virtual) Convention Ends With Over-the-Top Gay Guy Doing Super Gay Rendition of Hippie Anthem, Plus a Big Endorsement of Violent Racist Extremist Group Black Lives Matter
The first night of the Democratic National Convention closed out with a performance by Billy Porter and rock star Stephen Stills that garnered mixed reactions from viewers.
The "Pose" star teamed up with Stills to perform what appeared to be a pre-recorded cover of Buffalo Springfield's 1966 protest anthem "For What It's Worth," which Stills originally wrote and recorded with Springfield.
...
"Billy Porter is so freakin fabulous i just cant even!! This duet with him and Stills hit the ball clear out of the park. Prob should have been the closing act on the final night because I cant imagine anything much better than this!" a third user wrote.
Meanwhile, a less than enthusiastic user called it "a God awful performance."
Porter cannot sing, so he just "vogues" the song.
A friend noted that the so-called "Party of Youth" continues making its "Party of Youth" pop culture pitches deploying songs that were on the radio before Woodstock.
"For What It's Worth" dates from 1966. I think that's when the old Batman show debuted.
It's almost as if "The Party of Youth" is controlled by decrepit Marxists and Weather Underground terrorists who still believe that the Soviet Union is the future.
