BREAKNG: Disney's ABC is pulling Jimmy Kimmel indefinitely after late night host's recent remarks about Charlie Kirk. Move comes as ABC affiliate groups told network they would be dropping the host.

My guess is that ABC told Kimmel to walk back the hateful misinformation he's pumping out -- Charlie Kirk was killed by a Charlie Kirk acolyte! -- and he flat refused. He's a pudgy tough-guy pussy liberal and he won't be pushed around.

Update: My guess was right. Kimmel planned to liesplain that he was "taken out of context" and therefore was right. No retraction, no apology.

And of course the Disney Groomer Corporation was already looking to ditch him. He's in his last year of his contract and ABC hasn't rushed to re-sign him.

Update: Major affiliates (the companies that actually run the stations that the ABC network licenses its shitty groomer content to) apparently demanded this.

The affiliates don't just own the blue city/blue state cities like NYC and LA that the Disney Groomer Corporation owns (own-and-operate stations). The affiliates own stations in the formerly-flyover states the leftwing coastals loathe.

This move rips the Jimmy Kimmel Show out of potentially millions of households and will negatively affect ad revenue.

Source with direct connections to the local broadcast affiliates for ABC tells me: "This is just the beginning. Get ready for much more."

Disney must act.

Disney's ABC said it would take Jimmy Kimmel's popular late-night show off its schedule "indefinitely" after one of the biggest owners of TV stations in the U.S., Nexstar Media, said it intended to pre-empt airings of the program following remarks the host made about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Nexstar said Wednesday that its "owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for the foreseeable future, beginning with tonight's show." The company said it "strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets."

In his monologue Monday night, Kimmel said that the "MAGA gang" was trying to score political points off Kirk's murder.

Is that all he said, Variety? Nothing about claiming the trans furry assassin is a MAGA activist?

Update: FCC head Brandon Carr thanks Nexstar for "doing the right thing."
