Brownshirt Media: Esquire Tries To Shame Celebrities Into Making Political Declarations [Warden]

So, I stumbled upon this tweet today.

The author of this slimy piece is the deputy editor at Esquire. It's an unbelievably lazy article, mostly full of pictures, so don't bother reading it. A 5th grader could do better.

But the aim of it is both chilling and enraging. Repulsive left-wing totalitarians like John Hendrickson want to insert their political agenda into literally every last corner of American life and punish not just those who disagree with them, but also those who wish to simply NOT engage in politics every single waking minute of their day.

As the saying goes, "You will be made to care."

The press, even in its current diminished capacity, has immense power to shape opinion and culture. It also has at its fingertips, the ability to ruin private citizens at a whim.

With such power should come the utmost prudence, but the American media behaves more like a bunch of sociopathic 4 year olds than responsible adults in the exercise of it.

Wannabe bullies like John Hendrickson should think very carefully about what they are doing. What skeletons in his closet does he have, I wonder? Because more than a few folks out there are entertaining funding private investigations of people like him after the election.

And, after all, how could one credibly complain about this after declaring that Taylor Swift is "not a private citizen"? If she isn't, then neither are you, pal.

World Series Thread Below! [ace]: Anyone interested in the game should probably post below, where like-minded people are talking about the Local Sports Team and its chances against the Other Sports Organization.

Honestly? I'm not showboating: I do not know who the hell is playing in the series. I didn't even realize the series was upon us until Misanthropic Humanoid mentioned that Brent wanted to do posts about it.
