The Lives Of Our Sailors On The U.S.S. Cole are worth exactly Nothing To Obama [CBD]

Over at Sultan Knish, ~~Jeff~~ Daniel Greenfield writes about The Betrayal of The U.S.S. Cole

Walid bin Attash, a planner of the USS Cole bombing and who also played a role in the 9/11 attack, is still at Gitmo. His trial continues to drag on while he and his lawyers play games. Rahim Hussein al-Nashiri, another of the planners, is still awaiting trial. But Mashur Abdallah Ahmed al Sabri, one of the members of the USS Cole cell, has already been released by Barack Obama from Guantanamo Bay. [emphasis added]

Al Sabri was released from Guantanamo Bay on April 16, 2016. He is directly responsible for and involved in the attack that left 17 sailors dead.

Maybe this is part and parcel of, as Ace puts it, Obama's "relentless denigration of achievement." Al Sabri didn't really do it, he was just a passive spectator to the work that really was the responsibility of big government. Maybe we should take that seriously and hold Yemen and Saudi Arabia and Iran and Pakistan responsible for the murders of so many of our citizens....
