Let's beef up the plain ol' football post today, shall we?

A reminder that despite all our worries and our bitching and our struggles, that life is bigger than us, and the Earth will continue to turn without us when we are gone.

This young man lost his father last week during the sinking of the El Faro. I didn't know a single person who was aboard her but I can't wipe from my mind what a horror they faced. He, brave soul that he is, keeps on moving and, as part of a team, continues to contribute as best he can.

After that, I owe you laugh. How's this work for ya?

I also owe you some really good elbows.

I aim to please.

And because there must be a blonde, one more, from the late afternoon games.
