Overnight Open Thread (13 Jun 2014)
Enjoy the full moon tonight. The next Friday the 13th full moon won't occur until August 13th, 2049.
Today is also kitchen klutzes of America day. Here are some kitchen fails to celebrate.
Pavement Cooking
Cooking eggs on a cement wall in D.C. circa June 1929.
Evidently, warmists believe that cooking food on the pavement proves global warming or something. Yeah, that has never happened before SUVs or higher CO2 levels.
Office Supply Crossbow
Nice. It's gonna be a fun day at work on Monday.
B-2 Bomber
B-2 bomber: 1, Bird: 0.
Antarctica
We should expect to read about gay cowboy poets in Antarctica soon, or at least a "merperson".
Neal Boortz made a trip to Antarctica earlier in the year, paying his own way.
While there, he discovered that the U.S. National Science Foundation has a program called “Artists & Writers” based there, spending thousands upon thousands of taxpayer dollars to send artists, painters and poets there.
The purpose? To “enable serious writings and works of art that exemplify the Antarctic heritage of humankind.”
One writer is there because of her book about a “merperson” — a mermaid/merman, if you will.
High Speed Rail
Here you go California. This is probably the only high speed rail you can afford.
Lunar Racing
Looks pretty cool. 3000 cars racing in lunar gravity.
Wild Party Ideas
So which of these wild party ideas are y'all doing for the upcoming meetup?

Friday Funnies
23 people who never saw it coming and got owned. I hope those boobies on number 9 are OK.
Selfies Kill
It's only a matter of time before selfies crack the top 10 in causes of death. Teenager plunges 60ft to death unto rocks after trying to 'take selfie'.
In April a 17-year-old Russian girl fell 30 feet to her death after climbing onto a railway bridge and getting electrocuted by live wires.
The same month a 32-year-old woman in South Carolina, who was posting selfies online as she drove, died when she crashed her car head-on into a truck.
Earlier this year a 21-year-old man in Spain was killed by a 3,500 volt electric shock after climbing on top of a train.
