Corruption; Thy Name Is Biden And McConnell

Ukraine is 5,000 miles from America, and its strategic value is nil in the grand scheme...modern weaponry and the changing face of war no longer requires it as a stepping stone into Russia. Sure, Russia needs it to expand into Eastern Europe, but judging by its spectacular military failures so far, the specter of a Russian expansion into Europe is far, far in the future.

So why are we pissing away billions of dollars we are currently borrowing from our great-grand-kids? There is one answer, and it is corruption. The graft must flow: from defense contractors to politicians, from the Ukrainians kicking back 10% to the "Big Guy," and more to his cronies in both parties, and probably places we aren't even aware of...

WH: Europe Has 'Stepped up to Help' Ukraine, But U.S. Is 'Biggest Provider'

On Wednesday’s “PBS NewsHour,” White House National Security Council Senior Director for Europe Amanda Sloat stated that while “the United States is the biggest provider of security assistance” “The Europeans certainly have stepped up to help the Ukrainians.” And the U.S. will encourage its allies and partners “to continue providing them with the artillery, the ammunition, and other capabilities that they need.”

McConnell's laughable and insulting comment that Ukraine is the most important issue among Republicans is functionally identical to him pissing in our faces, and not even bothering to claim it is raining.

At this point, I am unsure who is more destructive...at least Biden is well into dementia and has very little stamina. McConnell seems hail and hearty in comparison. But a pox on both their houses!
