Lori Lightfoot Tells Alphabet Army They're In Physical Danger From Supreme Court, "Calls [Them] To Arms" to "Fight" Even As Antifa Black Bloc Terrorists Menace Justices

Criminal incitement.

Can I call conservatives to arms against the threat of Groot or would that be too dangerous?

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot was slammed by critics Tuesday for issuing a "call to arms" against the US Supreme Court after news that Roe v. Wade might be overturned broke.

"To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community -- the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms," the Chicago mayor tweeted.

"We will not surrender our rights without a fight-- a fight to victory!"

Lightfoot's comment comes amid outrage from Democrats after the leak of a memo indicating the Supreme Court is poised to overturn the landmark abortion ruling.

During an interview with MSNBC, Lightfoot was asked to clarify her meaning of "call to arms."

"I think everybody who saw that draft opinion has gone through a range of different emotions," Lightfoot said.

"And that's why I'm calling upon fellow elected officials across the country, and particularly my fellow mayors to join me in making a pledge that we made today, which is a justice for all pledge. And fundamentally, it reaffirms Chicago as a welcoming city, a city that doesn't discriminate, and a city that's going to stand with women."

Several people have slammed Lightfoot's tweet saying that the tweet provoked violence as several Supreme Court Justices face protests outside of their homes.

Looks like the Alphabet Army heeded her call.

Lori Lightfoot has claimed that this will be "Summer of Joy" for Chicago. John Kass cruelly mocks this imbecility.

There are the birds of spring in your backyard, chirping of new life. And there are those birds of death you can hear in every neighborhood now as Chicago's summer heats up, as Chicago’s mayor, unhinged, demands her "Summer of Joy."

Summer of Joy? She thinks so. Chicago doesn’t think it will be all that joyful.

The songbirds, and cardinals and robins tell you about spring. But those birds of death? Years ago, you might have heard them when the weather warmed, at night, mostly on the South and West Sides. But now you hear the death birds in the morning and afternoon too, in the Loop, in upscale Lincoln Park, everywhere.

...

You don't need birds or weather forecasters to tell you that summer's here. Just think Chicago Fire Department paramedics on their back stoops, alone, staring out into the back alley with empty eyes.

What do they think about? The bodies taken away in Chicago’s River of Violence. The mothers screaming at the crime scenes. A little girl or little boy in the ambulance. That river is never ending. It sweeps the victims away. New victims are always falling into that river, and they too are swept away, the names of the dead forgotten.

As I type this, Dakotah Earley, the 23-year-old culinary student shot three times for his phone in Lincoln Park, was still clinging to life. That robbery gang roams through upscale Lincoln Park and other neighborhoods is reportedly thought by police to be involved in seven robberies over the past few days.

Content warning for that Lincoln Park shooting. Kass discussed this on the Megyn Kelly show; Lincoln Park is an upscale neighborhood where people are paying a lot of money to live in what was supposed to be bourgeois splendor. And now they're literally afraid to leave their homes at night -- and increasingly afraid to leave their homes in daylight as well.

But Groot is on the case. Not the case of Chicago being the murder capital of the United States. No, she can't be f***ed about that.

She's out of Chicago, as usual, down in Texas fundraising for the LGBT "Victory Fund," which I guess she was trying to pimp when she called the Alphabet Army to arms to shoot Supreme Court justices.

And she'll be raising money for her re-election, too.

Eyes on the prize, people. Eyes on the prize.

Meanwhile, everyone who can leave Chicago, is leaving Chicago.

Boeing last week made it official: Its Arlington, Virginia, campus will serve as its company headquarters. While that's good news for the Washington, D.C. region, it's more bad news for Chicago.
