Whoopi Goldberg: The Holocaust Had Nothing to Do With Race

The background for this is that there is an idea among the more, um, "race conscious" members of the black community that in the long history of the world only blacks have ever suffered racial discrimination, and they create semantic distinctions to explain why, well, why Jews never, ever suffered racial discrimination.

Even under Hitler.

And it should be pointed out that, of course, there is a racial animus towards Jews among some segments of the black population, which often overlaps with the most aggrieved of the, um, race-conscious segment, which creates a certain openness to any argument that removes any kind of specialness from Jews, even if that specialness is in the realm of suffering.

Anyone who read the New York Times during the nineties knows well the undercurrents of animus against Jews in the more "race-conscious" parts of the black community. Anyone who sees the videos of the attacks on Jews in NYC knows it, too.

This gets into the black racist notion, too, that "whites cannot be the victims of racism." Jews get defined as "white," for all purposes, and therefore -- it is impossible for them to be the victims of racial discrimination, racial hate crimes, or even racial genocides.

And so here's Whoopi Goldberg explaining that when Hitler killed six million Jews, that wasn't racial hatred. That was just about (checks notes) "how people treat each other."

Note there will be no calls by anyone in the Tech-Media-Government Cartel to censor or deplatform Whoopi Goldberg for her dangerous disinformation which questions the reality of the Holocaust.
