Biden Lies Again: Claims Manchin Stood Before Progressive House Caucus and Declared, "Joe Didn't Mislead You; I Misled You"
I mentioned this in a post yesterday but it's worth its own post.
Dementia Joe is getting worse.
The White House had to come out and "clarify" that Dementia Joe just made this up out of whole cloth.
That's not what "clarify" usually means.
At yesterday's Q&C (Question & Cough):
"Some people think maybe I'm not Irish because I don't hold a grudge. But I want to get things done," said Biden, when asked if Manchin broke a commitment to him. "I still think there’s a possibility of getting Build Back Better done."
Biden's claim to "common-man authenticity" relies entirely on his casual use of old ethnic tropes and outright slurs.
This is what the media means when they say he has "the common touch:" they mean he casually demean and stereotypes people according to their ethnic heritage.
You know -- it's "folksy" when a Democrat does it.
Anyway, continuing:
Biden continued, "Joe (Manchin) went on TV today, uh, (I don't know) whether it's TV or not, I'm told he was speaking to the Liberal Caucus in the House and said, Joe Biden didn't mislead you, I misled you.'"
He then told a reporter that "Senator Manchin and I are going to get something done," and then he stomped out of the room without a mask.
After the lie by Biden, the White House must have realized that wasn't going to go over well with Manchin and they tried to clean up what Biden said about Manchin.
The White House later clarified Biden's remarks. A spokesman told reporters that the President wanted to clarify that Senator Manchin did not characterize himself as having been 'misleading.'
He's either a congenital liar or he is in the advanced phases of dementia and simply confabulates a false world that appeals to him.
Or, more likely, it's both.
Say remember when the leftwing media used to spend full pages and entire segments dissecting claimed presidential lies?
Good times, good times.
