First-World Problems...
Is there some immutable law of nature that mandates that propane tanks run out of fuel exactly when replacing them is maximally difficult and disruptive?
And I am not even talking about not having a full tank available...I learned my lesson a long time ago when I had 10 people for dinner and I had to change the main course on the fly when the propane gremlins emptied the tank behind my back.
No, I am referring to the perfectly inconvenient time for the tank to run out of gas...after you turn the grill on to preheat and just as you want to start cooking. Obviously the tanks have minds of their own, or the gremlins are particularly cranky in my neck of the woods.
And I was so flustered I overcooked the clod petite filets I found at the market...but more about that anon.
Yes. Sometimes it is a struggle, but we all must soldier on!
