Rand Paul: I'm Referring Fauci For Criminal Charges, and Here's the Proof He Lied to Congress
The lie, as you probably know, concerns Fauci's strenuous denial that money he sent to EcoAlliance was in turn sent to Wuhan for gain-of-function research.
As the second pair of tweets below shows, an MIT biologist as well as "the Bat Lady" herself says that Fauci's money did fund gain-of-function research at Wuhan.
Fauci insists that by his personal definition of gain-of-function -- a definition shared by no one else in virology -- this wasn't "gain-of-function."
He claims, after the fact, that the money was not used for gain-of-function, but everyone thought it did fund gain-of-function when it was being spent.
As well as in scientific papers describing the research.
It's a very Clintonesque "It depends on what the definition of 'gain-of-function' is."
He's setting up a state-of-mind defense to a perjury charge: "Well in my mind I wasn't lying, so there was no intent."
Note that the liberal media, including the liberal Fox News, is aggressively defending Fauci, and apparently blaming Fauci's lies to Congress on... Trump.
Fat sack of fat Neil Cavuto:
He has been vilified to the point that you'd think he was Lex Luthor. I don't know how productive that is. What might have been missed and the source of all of this, I get that. But to make him the target of attacks, I think that a lot of this has to go back to his departure from the former president, Donald Trump at the time. But whatever is behind it, I don't see it being constructive
Cavuto is of course a big covid panic pornographer. And maybe he should be -- he's 300 pounds of comorbidities in a 200 pound sack.
