Nancy Pelosi Blocks Two Republicans (Including Jim Jordan) From the January 6 Commission; Kevin McCarthy Retaliates By Pulling All Republicans (Except Liz Cheney) from the Fake Inquiry
Shriveled witch:
"It had been our hope to establish a bipartisan, independent National Commission, but there is no prospect for that Commission at this time because of insufficient support from Republican Senators. Therefore, the House established the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. The Select Committee on the January 6th Insurrection will investigate and report upon the facts and causes of the terrorist mob attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. It will also be charged with reporting its findings, conclusions and recommendations for preventing future attacks.
"Monday evening, the Minority Leader recommended 5 Members to serve on the Select Committee. I have spoken with him this morning about the objections raised about Representatives Jim Banks and Jim Jordan and the impact their appointments may have on the integrity of the investigation. I also informed him that I was prepared to appoint Representatives Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong and Troy Nehls, and requested that he recommend two other Members.
"With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these Members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee.
"The unprecedented nature of January 6th demands this unprecedented decision."
The "unprecedented" January 6 riot (say, did you notice the Summer of Love riots all through 2020?) sure is "demanding" a lot of "unprecedented" moves by The Regime.
Maybe it's time to consider some of our own unprecedented decisions.
In retaliation, Kevin McCarthy announced that he's pulling all Republican nominees from the commission.
Note that this does not include Liz Cheney -- she'll still be on the commission.
She was appointed by Pelosi, not Republicans.
Speaking of Liz Cheney: Trump issued a statement in which he says he'll be deciding which primary challenger to endorse over the next few months:
Paying close attention to the Wyoming House Primary against loser RINO Liz Cheney. Some highly respected pollsters tell me she's toast in Wyoming after siding with Crazy Nancy Pelosi and supporting the Democrat Impeachment Hoax. And that’s just the beginning! This is a "hot" race with some very interesting candidates running against her. Remember though, in the end we just want ONE CANDIDATE running against Cheney. I’ll be meeting with some of her opponents in Bedminster next week and will be making my decision on who to endorse in the next few months. JUST ONE CANDIDATE. Thank you!
That is a good decision. Trump has made some really bad endorsements in the past, like Luther Strange.
(I'm informed that Mitch McConnell suckered Trump into endorsing the establishment c*** Strange over the Freedom Caucus/Tea Party Mo Brooks -- which Bitch McConnell obviously opposes -- by showing him two or three derogatory tweets Brooks posted about Trump in 2015/early 2016.)
There is no rush to endorse, except to prove his "clout." Let the political process happen so we can see people's policies and how they connect with people. Don't short-circuit that critical process by bigfooting it with a big announcement based on one brief, superficial meeting.
