Deep Down Inside, The Left Is Afraid: Of You, Of New Ideas, Of The Chaos Of A Free Humanity

Publicity is justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants; electric light the most efficient policeman.

Is it possible that the explanation for the insanity of the Left's desired policies is simply fear? Perhaps it is the straightforward fact that they cannot fend for themselves in a society unimpeded by heavy-handed government regulation and strict codes of behavior.

Deep down inside their tiny little brains, they know that if the playing fields were level, those on the Right -- the people who chafe at being told what do -- would clean their clocks. They don't have sufficient imagination to see into the future and think, "I wonder how x would work if we did y? They want a clearly defined pathway, unburdened by twists and turns and most of all forks and intersections and...shudder...choices.

Or maybe they are just authoritarian pricks who get off on telling people what to do....
