Antifa Tries to Shut Down a "Sargon of Akkad" Event
Not the biggest story, but a story, I think.
The left continues to be violent, and the leftwing media continues to either cover up for them or, when their violence is so notorious it cannot be covered up for, to actively defend them and justify their violence.
The media is therefore complicit in leftwing violence, and yet also insists that it should be spared even any criticism, because to even criticize it is to attack the foundations of democracy by "chilling speech."
Well -- what about providing aid and comfort to fascist organizations explicitly devoted to chilling speech, media?
Here's a video of Sargon talking about the fascist attack, displaying the Antifa flag he stole from them, and boasting "I've got your flag, cucks."
Here's Sargon peacocking around with Antifa's flag.
Oh, and I've wanted to watch this debate since John Sexton put it up: Is "intersectionality" (the faux-intellectual theory that Social Justice Warrioring is premised on, to the extent they pretend at any justification beyond pure tribalism) really a religious cult?
Christina Hoff Sommers has previously branded "intersectional feminism" a conspiracy theory which posits that any adversity you face in life -- any dude that doesn't want to date you, any failure to be promoted, any boss that fires you -- is due to a conspiracy by the Cis White Male Patriarchy.
Which itself blends into a cult religion easily enough.
As Hoffler said, a cult can get by with no god, but a cult absolutely needs a Devil.
Oh, and speaking of Sommers, they just tried to shut her down from speaking, too.
Sure looks like a cult to me.
More from Ann Althouse, who notes that when these people are given the stage to "Share Their Voices" (as they are here), it turns out they don't have anything to say. All they have is their chants and religious songs.
