Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation: Flight 804 Crash More Likely Terrorist Attack Than Technical Failure

Sigh.

An attack "more likely" than an technical problem

The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation opined that the theory of a "terrorist attack" was "more likely" than a technical failure in explaining the crash of the plane.

"The situation could, and I say could because I don't want to speculate... incline one to consider the probability, the possibility, of an action on board, of a terrorist attack, is higher than a technical failure," had said the minister Sherif Fathy during a press conference.

"But I don't want to draw any hasty conclusions," he added to the AFP.

The plane took several "brutal turns" before disappearing off radar.

Update: On CNN, they're saying it was a bomb -- but they don't want to specify a terrorist bomb.
