Pre-Game Hype: Did Romney give his largely ineffectual speech for a hidden purpose?
Theory: He gave the speech to increase the drama and viewer interest in tonight's debate, because either he expects that tonight's debate will be another bad performance from Trump, mixed with lots of attacks on him, or he hopes that, at least?
Bear in mind, this is the eleventh debate. The last one, the tenth, was the most telling debate, and most dramatic, but I have to imagine it wasn't widely watched.
Maybe Romney was attempting to boost ratings for a second tag-team effort on Trump.
Okay, that's just idle speculation, but what do you want from me.
By the way: If Obama's such a great president, why are both political parties in the midst of civil wars?
Strife and stress don't happen during good times. During good times, parties dutifully nominate Continuity Candidates to keep the good times rolling.
Yet we're not having that kind of primary on either side. Both parties seem to be in apocalyptic frames of mind.
That shouldn't happen under a successful presidency. Should it?
