Angus King Will Continue Caucusing with Democrats

Eh.

I think it was AllahPundit who asked, rightly, "Who gives a wet fart if Angus King caucuses with us?" We already have the majority; why would we give him peach committee assignments for nothing at all?

Mitch McConnell apparently said that three Democrats had spoken with him about "remaining relevant," or something, which might mean, hint-hint, they want to jump parties.

I was wondering: Do you think Mary Landrieu might have floated this offer?

I wouldn't put it past her.

We should reject that.

Who else could be thinking of flipping? Joe Manchin, maybe. But who else?

Correction: @tsrblke and @johnekdahl tell me I'm misreading, or overreading, that "remaining relevant" quote, and all McConnell was talking about was Democrats looking to strike deals on particular legislation of a bipartisan nature.
