Scientists believe there are important evolutionary advantages conferred on the duck by its outsized penises, such as more easily engaging in duck courtship rituals and mating displays, such as fucking rhinoceri "as a goof."

Speaking of "as a goof," I caught The Ten this weekend, a collection of sketches linked (barely) by the conceit that they're all stories about violating the ten commandments. It's by two of the guys from MTV's The State (David Wain, Ken Marino; the whole rest of the cast shows up in the movie, but the more successful members like Michael Ian Black and Thomas "Reno 911" Lennon tend to show up in only brief cameos), and like The State it's pretty hit-and-miss; sometimes they seem to think that simple bizarreness or outrageousness is close enough to actual comedy to pass for it.

I found it funny, but it's extremely sacreligious in some parts (in the second episode, Gretchen Mol hooks up with Jesus Christ), and pretty uneven. A couple of bits are pretty funny, several more are so-so funny, and then a couple are just not funny at all.

I think this clip is a good example of the film's comic style -- if you think this is funny, you'll like most of it. If you think this is just stupid and goes on far too long stretching out a single joke into a five minute sketch, definitely skip it.

Content warning towards then end, as we get to the trial and past it. It's safe, though, through the police interrogation with Liev Schreiber (which is also, for me, the point at which the repetition of the catch-phrase exhausts itself).
