Seattle Pretends It Does Not Loathe The Military Week [AndrewsDad]

It is Seafair week in Seattle. Seafair is Seattle's summer festival that features parades, boat races, art fairs and demonstrations and exhibitions of the imperialist enabling equipment of illegal and unjust wars.

Sweet.

The Blue Angels do an impressive aerial show and the Navy lets the public get up close and personal with the equipment used to kill terrorists. I use the words up close and personal to mean let your 7 year old climb all over and inside vehicles that just got back from Iraq.

The Navy does a superb job with this event, lots of PR and recruiting which was to be expected. Not a single protester to be found. Probably just resting up for Hempfest in a couple of weeks.
