More Religious Blogging (OregonMuse)

I think I first saw these youtube clips on Ann Althouse's blog, but I don't remember exactly when. At any rate, Woody Allen interviews (!) Billy Graham (!!). It appears to be sometime in the late 60s. Did Allen sub on the Tonight Show or some program like that when he did this interview? I don't know.

Anyway, what I thought is great about this interview is that here we have two men, who obviously have fundamentally different views of God and men, and etc., and yet can conduct themselves gracefully and with good humor and, yes, tolerance. It's as if they're actual adults, having an adult conversation.

This is refreshing to see in these days when the rhetorical climate has become so debased.
