New York Attorney General Letitia James has initiated the process to begin seizing portions of Donald Trump's assets as part of the state's $450 million civil fraud judgment against the former president. Filings indicate that James is eyeing Trump's Seven Springs golf course and private estate in Westchester County.

The judgments were filed in Westchester County on March 6th, a week after Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay the fraud fine--and two weeks after MxM News first reported that New York Attorney General Letitia James was "ready" to begin seizing Trump's assets.

This filing is the first step a creditor takes to recover property, with potential next steps including placing liens on assets or forcing a foreclosure.

Trump's proposal to post a $100 million appeal bond instead of the full $464 million required was denied by Judge Engoron.
