A New Report Says that Men Have Stolen 2,300 Gold Medals from Women Over The Past 40 Years.

These things that never happen sure do seem to happen an awful lot.

Transgender athletes have stripped women and girls of nearly 2,300 gold medals and more than $500,000 in prize money over the past four decades, according to an analysis from a conservative think tank.

Athletes competing in sports events that don't match their birth sex have bumped biological women out of championship spots 2,293 times since the mid-1980s, according to the evangelical-leaning public policy nonprofit, Concerned Women for America.

The group also found that trans athletes, who were born "male," have "stolen" $501,498 in prize money from women and girls in professional sports.

For the report , the think tank analyzed data from a HeCheated.org, a volunteer-run online database that documents instances of trans women athletes participating in female sports events.

In total, it reportedly found they have competed in more than 14,301 female sporting events, including amateur and professional.

High school long jumper AB Hernandez also sparked outrage in May after the trans teen, who was born male, dominated multiple girls track and field events at a California regional event.

Male cheaters stealing medals and scholarships from actual female athletes was the subject of a Senate hearing, which Democrats, of course, denounced and then completely boycotted.

"Women were last to get the vote, to participate in professions, to serve on juries, [and] get credit cards in their own names," said Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. "Women should not be asked again to cede their opportunities just to make men comfortable," trading "their gold medals for [participation] trophies."

It's no "coincidence" that male participation in women's sports is growing amid viewership records and rising pay, Grassley said, crediting his home state's basketball legend Caitlin Clark for the spike in WNBA player salaries in this year's collective bargaining agreement.

Republicans repeatedly harped on Democrats for taking their ball and going home rather than hear out the witnesses. The panel's top Democrat, Illinois's Dick Durbin, said the issue is a low priority for Americans and called the hearing a "vendetta" against a tiny minority before leaving.

Moody trashed House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries for calling the GOP's Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act the "Child Predator Empowerment Act," based on activist talking points and false reporting that sex verification requires genital inspection.

Ceding a podium to a male has become an "institutionalized, sanctioned humiliation ritual" for female athletes, said Independent Council on Women's Sports cofounder Kim Jones, once an All-American tennis player at Stanford. Her daughter competed against and shared a locker room with male swimmer Lia Thomas, who famously took a trophy from Riley Gaines.

By the way, the reporter for that article notes that the Senate is currently allowing a bill to protect women in sports to languish without being passed. He points out that Republican senators never mentioned that bill -- choosing, as usual, rhetoric and sound-bites over actual action.

A former therapist at a Welsh gender clinic reports that the "diagnostic criteria" to "screen" kids (and adults) for "transgendeismr" is designed to basically screen in everybody.

Serious and obvious mental illnesses are routinely ignored so that the pre-determined diagnosis of "gender dysphoria" can be officially entered.

For the first six months or so, despite thinking it was "a bit odd", Anna went along with it. Eventually she started raising questions. "My concerns were that somebody could meet the diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria or transsexualism, but it wasn't about gender. Somebody I remember very, very clearly, was a young woman, who was identifying as a man. She had very large breasts, and she wanted cross-sex hormones. She wanted testosterone and she wanted her breasts to be removed. Okay. But her history was that she had been sexually abused for many years by her father, and the sexual abuse was around her breasts. It's so bloody obvious. I could stand next to somebody at a bus stop and say "What do you think of that?" And they'd say, "Of course you'd need to think about the sexual abuse." Of course you would. But at the gender clinic, she met the diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria. So she went through."

Anna also quickly became aware that "about 50%" of the clinic's referrals had a diagnosis of autism. "But I would guess a further 20%, maybe more, had undiagnosed autism or something very similar. They had very fixed beliefs, eg if I feel uncomfortable in my body, then I need to be somebody else. Things were expressed in a very concrete way: If I become a man, if I become a woman, if I get this such-and-such removed, that's going to solve my problems."

Anna thought her job was "exploration", but this was "hardly done at all. It was done a bit, but hardly at all. The overriding thing was, do they meet the diagnostic criteria? And I suppose I kept saying, till I was blue in the face, you can meet the diagnostic criteria, but it's not about gender. It's about other things."

Like autism, schizophrenia, previous sexual abuse -- all ignored, with therapists directed to just keep checking the literal check boxes for gender dysphoria.

As for the women... "I would sit and almost want to weep because a young woman would come in and say "Oh, well, I'm not into dresses, I'm not feminine, I'm attracted to other women. So I'm wondering whether actually I am a man?" And I would think you're a lesbian. You're a gay woman. But again, they'd meet the diagnostic criteria. So...."

Yikes on bikes, obviously the correct diagnosis is "Lesbianism with complicating long covid."

This is the worst part, which I hadn't heard before, though I guess it's obvious.

Puberty blockers stop the maturation of the body -- and the brain.

She says that kids given puberty blockers remain child-minded even as they become young adults.

Another chilling example Anna gave was her experience of dealing with 18 year olds who had been put on puberty blockers whilst at the Tavistock children's gender clinic. "Because they'd been on puberty blockers, it felt like being in the room with a 13 or 14 year old. Cognitively and emotionally, it felt like somebody much younger to the point where, as a team, it felt like we were working in an adolescent service. But we were an adult service. I'd never worked with adolescents. It's a different field. So I suppose we were... I wouldn't say out of our depth, but it was uncomfortable."

I pick Anna up on the point about cognition. Was she saying that these teenagers' mental development had slowed?

"Totally, yeah. Totally. And I can remember we had a training session with some of the endocrinologists from the Tavistock children's gender identity service. And I put that to them and they went, "No, no, no. There's no evidence for that." I said, "well, that's what I'm seeing", but they were just: "No, no, no. That's not a thing"."
