The SPLC Repeatedly Invokes the Fifth Amendment to Avoid Answering Whether They Used Donor Money to Pay "Extremists" to Put On "Hate" Marches, Burn Crosses, and Recruit New Members

I say he invoked the Fifth Amendment, which he did. But the words he kept using were "We will address those allegations in court." In other words, I will not answer questions for which I will be held criminally responsible in another court.

That's his right, but:

1, why are people allowed to invoke the Fifth without explicitly invoking the Fifth? I bet you Democrats would demand to know what basis a witness has for refusing to answer.

and,

2, he's a fucking criminal, he knows he broke the law, and this is not some kind of principled invocation of the Fifth. He's guilty and his answers would either confirm his guilty or deny it, which would be obstruction of Congress because he'd be lying.

Here's some of his repeated refusal to aswer on the basis that he will be answering these questions in criminal court.

He is unapologetic and retains the SPLC's Murder Advisory against TPUSA.

He repeatedly refused to apologize for inciting people to murder Charlie Kirk. As Rep. Issa alludes, the SPLC put the Family Research Council on their Hate Map sixteen years ago, and a leftist assassin shot up the place.
