Actor Steve Buscemi was assaulted in a random act of violence in Mid-Town Manhattan, New York City over the weekend. The New York Police Department is currently on the hunt for the unidentified attacker.

Steve Buscemi, a beloved figure in New York and a former firefighter, was the victim of a random act of violence on Wednesday. The assault occurred just before noon in midtown Manhattan, leaving the actor with injuries to his left eye. Buscemi was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
