House Committee Subpoenas Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's Corrupt Brother James

Make these criminals plead the fifth.

"House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today issued subpoenas to President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, brother, James Biden, and Biden family associate, Rob Walker, to appear for depositions," the committee announced in a press release on Wednesday. "Chairman Comer also requested additional members of the Biden family and their associates appear for transcribed interviews. Chairman Comer plans to send additional subpoenas and transcribed interview requests later this week."

According to the Oversight Committee's Twitter/X account, those additional subpoenas will go to:

Sara Jones Biden (wife of Joe Biden's brother, James)

Hallie Biden (widow of Joe Biden's deceased son, Beau, and erstwhile slam-piece of Hunter Biden)

Elizabeth Secundy (Hallie Biden's older sister, also erstwhile slam-piece of Hunter Biden)

Melissa Cohen (wife and current slam-piece of Hunter Biden)

Tony Bobulinski (Hunter Biden's former business partner)

That's not all: The Committee finally got David Weiss to answer, under oath, that Merrick Garland has been lying to Congress for a year.

David Weiss is/was the US Attorney from Delaware. He cannot bring prosecutions in other states, unless 1) the attorney from that state partners up with him for a prosecution, or 2) the DOJ appoints him "Special Attorney" with an extended jurisdiction to conduct investigations and bring charges in other states.

The most serious crimes Hunter Biden committed took place in Washington DC and California. Those crimes involved hiding money from the IRS to avoid disclosing that he was on the payroll of foreign principles, which he wanted to avoid disclosing so that he would not be prosecuted for failing to file as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agent Registration Act.

But David Weiss never brought charges for those crimes. He allowed the statute of limitations to run, which means that Hunter Biden gets off for them scot-free without even having to take a plea deal.

The whistleblowers against Weiss told Congress that Weiss explained his failure to bring charges by saying he did not have "ultimate authority" to bring charges.

But this contradicts AG Merrick Garland's congressional testimony, in which he asserted, repeatedly, that Weiss did have such authority.

For a year now, we've been trying to get an answer to the question: Who was lying about Weiss having, or not having, ultimate authority? Did Weiss lie? Did he always have ultimate authority but chose not to use it, and lied to his employees about the reason for allowing the statute of limitations to run?

Or did the Attorney General, the top "justice" official in the US, lie to Congress about Weiss ever having that power?

Both men have been squirrelly about answering that question.

But now Congress has forced David Weiss to answer under oath.

And David Weiss says -- he applied to the DOJ for "Special Attorney" status to prosecute Hunter Biden for crimes in California and DC, but Merrick Garland refused that status.

"When he was specifically asked, did you ever request special attorney authority under Section 515, Mr. Weiss's response was yes, in the spring of 2022. So that that goes to the heart of the matter.

He requested it was not given that request and never had that authority throughout the time and yet he pretends that somehow he did have that.

And then finally, of course, on [August] of this year, he gets special counsel status when he requests that from the Attorney General.

So to me, that's the key takeaway. He won't answer a lot of questions. But that's the key takeaway, because this whole deposition was about the changing story we got from DOJ, regarding the authority that he had.

And that answer, I think the key is, is entirely consistent with what Mr. Shapley said after the October 7, 2022 meeting, when he said USA Weiss requested Special Counsel authority when it was sent to DC and Main DOJ denied his request and told him to follow the process.

So once again Shapley and Ziegler's testimony continues to stand up to every single witness we brought in for an interview."

Megyn Kelly says it's perfectly "routine" for a US Attorney to get a "pink slip" to conduct an investigation in another state, and yet, surprise surprise, that "routine" bit of paper became impossible to get in this one case.
